We’re thrilled to introduce Shane Tate, a versatile DJ and budding music producer now based just outside Amsterdam. With 20 years of DJing experience, Shane is known for his high-energy sets, seamless genre-blending, and passion for pushing musical boundaries.

After relocating from the UK, Shane has spent the past six months diving into music production, channeling his extensive DJ background into crafting innovative, genre-defying tracks. A highlight of his career includes stepping up in the main room at a Tony De Vit memorial event at Sundissential, proving his adaptability and skill.

With an unstoppable drive and a growing repertoire, Shane is set to make waves at Microglobe Collective—welcome aboard!

Evosonic Radio was the world's first independent radio station for electronic music, which could be received via cable and satellite from 1997 to 1999. 
Evosonic Radio did not submit to the conventions of format radio, but gave its music editors and DJs a lot of freedom. 
This concept, unique in Germany, won the "German Dance Award" in the "Best Medium" category in January 2000. Chris-Maico Schmidt aka Mike S., who was responsible for the music played most of the time as program director, accepted this award. 15 years later he founded Evosonic Records. Today, as then, Chris-Maico Schmidt makes sure that the label does not submit to any conventions and that his artists have the freedom that is indispensable for the one same goal: high musical quality - then as now.

As an instructor at VibrA School of DJing, he taught music production with Ableton and DJing from 2004 to 2018. 
He was resident DJ at OZ-Stuttgart, Cave Club-Salzburg. Co-owner of Delirium Record Shop, Stuttgart. He currently lives in Cologne, Germany.
