Microlip is a self-driven, self-maintained, self-funded and self-managed band hailing from Northern Ireland. Formed in 2008 the band got off to a flying start with their first single Man of Steel becoming play-listed on major radio stations across the UK and Ireland. Massive support slots followed from this success, seeing the band share stages with acts such as Ed Sheeran, The Script, JLS and The Coronas.

“Back then the dream of a record deal was the goal but somewhere along the line, we lost track of what was important… THE MUSIC. We now aim to make music without having to box it into a certain genre or follow archaic models of how a song should be put together. Our creativity will no longer be curbed by conformity, only by our imaginations”- Neil Guy, Microlip keyboardist. 

Over the last few months, the 5 lads from Portadown, whilst juggling family commitments, have been working to create a new catalogue of music and will be unleashing the first of this new catalogue on 29th May 2021. Each new song brings a new perspective, with the band's sound evolving and morphing to suit each new idea. Hard-hitting lyrics, raunchy guitars, and piercing synths quickly become a soft piano ballad or even a new-age 80’s love song.
Microlip has decided to share future releases with you THE PEOPLE, FOR FREE! The band will be releasing all their new material via their website www.microlipband.com and their social media sites. If you like a single, you can download it, for free! There will be an option to donate if you feel you can and would like to support the band. All donations received will enable us to keep 'er lit! No middlemen, no more; just the band and their fans.

Danny plays to crowds all around Northern Ireland and has played in Wales as well as having held residencies in other countries.Danny's most recent out of Northern Ireland residency has been Ayia Napa where he DJ'd during the day at Pool Parties for the highly respectable Senator Hotel, and also DJ'd on the Strip Mon-Sunday Nights!

Danny has boasted a load of local residencies in the Mid-Ulster region of Northern Ireland and has also played in such hot spots as... Bar Bella / Hagans Bar / Bar 43, Space Nightclub, Bennetts Bar,The Tunnel Bar, The Oak, Guilty Pleasure Nightclub, Fabric Bar&Venue, PatCs Bar&Lounge, McKennas Bar, Viva Bar+Venue, Keegans Bar, Valhalla Nightclub, Windsor Nightclub... plus many, many more....

Recently Danny has been added to Belfasts Most Music Station Blast 106.4fm and currently holds the Blast Dance show on its sister station Blast Xtra Saturdays from 7pm where he Co-Hosts the "Blast Dance Show" and has professional DJ's and Celebrity Djs on the show regularly... such DJs are Italian Hard-style Act Techno-boy,  Queen of Hard House  & Dominatrix of Psy Trance, Lisa Lashes... plus others such as Renowned Commercial House Geordie Shore DJ Joel Corry and up and coming EDM producers MickMag & JustBoB.

Danny is the Owner of Prestige Clubbing Events which is the centre of attention to top Theme parties throughout Northern Ireland.
