Back in March 2003 Claro Intelecto announced his arrival in the electronic world with his Peace Of Mind EP on Ai Records. Now, a decade later, Delsin, the label on which he released his latest LP, is re-releasing it in all its glory. Across four perfectly formed tracks the EP proved Manchester’s Mark Stewart to have a fine grasp on techno, electro and dub, and that he was able to do his own unique things with each.

Arguably the most well known cut from the EP is 'Peace of Mind (Electrosoul)', a busy bit of chattery house-come-electro that is wired up with many zithering melody lines and Claro's trademark lush strings. 'Tone' is then a much more frazzled and aggressive bit of techno with raw, slapping percussion, gurgling synth lines and plenty of dystopian electro vibes. 'Contact' then settles into a deep, dubby, spacious groove with airy hi hats and a delightful bassline and carries you along effortlessly, and final track 'Signifier' closes things out in beautifully serene style with ambient swirling pads, organic synths and a curious bassline that rises and falls like the tide. Seminal stuff that still fetches a high price on Discogs, it was the start of a remarkable career for Claro Intelecto.

Today's premiere comes from one of our favourite producers - he played for us in London last December and released a track on our 7th compilation.

His latest release, Orbit, is a 6-track whirlwind of melodic braindance, electro funk and cosmic acid collected from Shinra's excursions to the outer reaches of the known universe. The title track premiered here is an emotional slice of electro with layers of synths swirling around a winding bassline.

With appearances on Balkan Vinyl, Null+Void, InFiné, Analogical Force and Feel My Bicep over the last couple of years, London-based producer Shinra has gradually been gaining recognition for his eclectic, acidic electro jams. Highlights include 2015's "Fallen" (selected for a Boiler Room debut) and his 2016 remix of Sandboards' "Visa" which was picked as electro tune of the month in Mixmag.

Galactic Jackson's Balla Compleanno [BALLA40]

This compilation is dedicated to Zoltán Balla aka Galactic Jackson on the occasion of his 40th birthday. Galactic Jackson is a very individual character in Budapest's electronic music scene: his eclectic vinyl only DJ sets, clothing style, moustache, facial expressions, and funny comments are all part of his image. However, it is not a fake persona; he is really like this.

Zoltán is also famous for his magical ‘Ballacid Studio’, which is one of the biggest analog synthesizer collections in Hungary.
J. Mono is an old friend of Galactic Jackson from Lajosmizse, Hungary. The artist is a songcrafter-synthjammer mastermind from the trio Wedding Acid Group and his first solo EP ‘Zzz’ was recently released on Dalmata Daniel. 

Silvio is an alias of the well-known Budapest-based musician Route 8, who is famous for his analogue-rich workouts and IDM-inspired but dancefloor-oriented sounds.

It is not necessary to introduce the Norwegian EOD to those who are familiar with IDM and acid scenes. Among others, he has releases on the famous labels Rephlex and 030303. 
Hypnotic is the producer of the Hungarian new wave band Nouvelle Phénomène (Bordello A Parigi).

Finally, S. Olbricht and Alpár are the members of the Budapest-based analog synth duo SILF (Synths I’d Like to F*ck). They also have numerous solo releases on different labels such as Opal Tapes, Lobster Theremin and SicSic Tapes.

sometime back in 1999 we hit the big time at glastonbury , fatboy slim , chemicals , underworld ,and err swayzak .....11am start jezuz  but still played in front of several thousand frothing lunatics ! later in the day we saw orbital , i said ooh i like that vocal sample on "halcyon" , turns out to be friend of friend aka kirsty hawkshaw and so the best track we ever wrote began ! 
this is carl finlow's sublime remix of the original which still tugs my heart strings .
my biggest regret is we never made a video or played on top of the pops with this tune ! On sale at our bandcamp site from tomorrow £1 a go
