Loic Lozano - The Last Dance (Red Richards)

Argenis Brito and Ricardo Villalobos have returned to the studio together. The pair are releasing two new tracks under the alias Pox & Pol, due to drop later on this month via London imprint Toi Toi Musik. Both artists are known for their percussive minimal collaborations – in 2016 they joined forces for 'Amnesia EP', and both featured on the Sei Es Drum classic, 'Peculiar'.

Ricardo is coming back to Farringdon for his next FRRC showcase on 19th May, so he sent over B-side 'Rikileaks' for us to share as an exclusive premiere. Taking in subdued drum squelches and a distorted vocal across a typically enduring 11-minute playtime, it’s one of Ricardo’s more melodic efforts in recent years, recalling cuts like 'Emilio (2nd Minimoonstar)' and 'Melo De Melo'. Eric is Odessa's based dj whos career started more than 15 years ago. In the very beginning he hosted his own fm radio show on local stations and held numerous events. At the same time he was representing Kazantip Republic as an ambassador, and also working as creative director in various nightclubs of Odessa.
Nowadays his main focus is on the FEELEED project and DSK PORT venue where this podcast was recorded. Also, he started the REM recording studio with his friend and FEELEED resident Rayo, where he produced his tracks which were released on BodyParts records and All Inn Black records. 
In 2017 Eric joins event and booking agency Bliss Promo (Paris). 
He plans to continue with Port team and expand his gig map after playing in France, Georgia, Vietnam, Russia and Belarus.

“WUD001 is finally completed and available. The idea behind this new series of digital releases has come naturally during the COVID19 lockdown. The main reason is to release quality and as good as vinyl material but in digital format. The journey is made by music created by friends and artists we respect. The output from the artists was amazing as we knew it would be, forming this way a group of 11 tracks with different styles but on the same path. The course on this path is made with minimalistic grooves and melodies, combined by more groovy and "dancy” material, no one is left behind.

Michito Iwata (Summit Dub) first emerged onto Seattle’s then upcoming electronic music scene in the early 2000s underground loft parties and quintessential club nights. As a child in 80s Japan, his earliest musical influence included the folk music of the deep Japanese highlands, along with retro Japanese pop and new age artists such as Tatsuro Yamashita and Kitaro.

Now a long-time fixture of the Seattle underground through his forays in DJing and event production, a student of genre has amassed a vast record collection that spans the gamut of quality house and techno, stringing them together in a high-art fashion. In addition to his many residencies and one-off events, he has partnered up with Brian Lyons who founded Flammable Sundays (since 1994) to work on their visionary label, LovingTouch. The label aims to feature music by array of world class talent, as well as both the undiscovered and the veterans of Seattle and West Coast, respectively.

2018 marked a new chapter in his musical endeavor with his first release, a 12” featuring his Lexeme moniker by a NJ/Berlin based label WEX Records. Keeping the momentum forward, a feature on WEX’s sub-label AHAAD - Dream Tools EP under the moniker Summit Dub with early support from Andrey Pushkarev and Janeret, 2 track EP on Mexico City’s Infradigrecords, and a single from Seattle’s Rhizome Audio imprint featuring a remix by Romanian producers Bryz and Cosmjn (scheduled for early 2021).

Having played alongside Richie Hawtin, Afriqua, iO Mulen, Janeret, Marc Schneider, Che Dammier, Ame, Patrice Scott, Andrey Pushkarev, Daniel Bell and many more throughout the years, the Seattleite now anticipates appearances around the globe.

The lake might be freezing in this cold winter, but the carp go with the icy flow bringing some hot material on KOI003 that comes from Ukrainian rising talent Peshka. Oriental EP sees the young Ukrainian producer go full-on-force with two captivating originals that meander between twisted drum arrangements and hefty basslines, leaving the necessary space for intriguing and melodic sounds to rise freely. On the remix duties, the label welcomes Romanian spearhead Arapu who delivers a massive "hands-up heads-down" reinterpretation of "Orient", turning the original into a basement destroyer.
