MPathy, formerly known as I'm Fine, has developed a strong interest for electronic music when he was still very young. Growing up in the city of Berlin he was highly influenced by the electronic music scene in the 90’s. He spent a couple of years in Chicago and Shanghai where he got involved with the local electronic music scene, which ultimately shaped his outlook on electronic music today.

With Techno music and DJing being his greatest passion for a long time he started to work on his own productions in 2008. Since then he has produced Techno, Tech-House and Minimal music for various record labels worldwide.

In 2012 he joined the Berlin based Deep House Label Steyoyoke. He is responsible for the most successful Steyoyoke release in collab​oration with Antonio Olivieri, ‘If I Were Music’. The most original sound on Steyoyoke comes fully endorsed by DJ W!ld, Larsson, Dyed Soundorom, Aki Bergen and ONNO.

Proceeding with his new name he has done remixes for Soul Button, Florian Rietze and Sasch.

In the summer of 2013 MPathy makes his solo voice heard for the first time with an established and rousing first EP ‘I’m Yours’ for Steyoyoke, a collab​oration with the seductive vocals of the highly talented singer and songwriter Amy Capilari.

With so much more to come from this young artist, ‘Iʼm Yours’ is testament to the philosophy that drives MPathy forward. MPathy is eager to push off in his own direction to continue to challenge and provoke existing concepts of making unique and forward thinking music.

"A dedication to all the people that try everyday to understand and act about the complexity of the world we live in.

My name is Alexis. I am a French producer and Dj originally from Paris of 23 years old based in Montréal, Canada. I have been producing music for the past 3 years while studying for my undergraduate studies in economics and political science. Yet, I will be moving to Paris in September to continue my studies.

I would like to share with you a short musical story made from musics that I love and often play in my sets.

I also played around the end of the mix a track that I produced. The track is called -Lost In Time-. This track has a lot of organic elements in the drums (toms, shakers, Egyptian guitar, and flute) with some more analog synth elements that come up in some parts of the arrangement. The track is available in free download on my Soundcloud Page.

1. Why did you choose to become an artist?
 
“Actually, I didn’t choose it. I made some music, had some success with it, found a good booking agency and had the opportunity to see a lot of beautiful places, where I played music in front of great people.”
 
2. What do you do to get into a creative state?
 
“As with a lot of artists, everyone has their own way of being the most creative. I made the experience that I need to have a free mind without any problems in my head to be creative and productive.”
 
3. What do you love most about being an artist?
 
“I don’t enjoy traveling too much, but LOVE to arrive, stay and play! Sometimes I have a hard time to produce music, because I’m a perfectionist and it cracks me up to find the right sound for what is in my head. I LOVE the moment I finish and release a track.”
 
4.  What makes you laugh?
 
“My dog ‘Busa’ and sitcoms like Brooklyn 99, Modern Family and How I Met Your Mother.”

“A warm place, a beach and a cold drink for the rest of my life.”

Electronically, melodious, emotional, playful and dreamily are the incisives arguments for Micrologue's Style and his customised outworking of electronical Music. 
His appearances are scrumtrulescent. It’s a kind of magic, which spread out in the room. He put his large audience on a journey, far away from everyday life.

With own Party - Projects like the Underground (2004-2007), the Circuit Breaking (2008) and the ELECTRONIC FIGHT NIGHT (2009-2010) he build up a reputation as a Organiser!

Meanwhile Micrologue is a permanent feature of the existing Club – Scene as Deejay, Producer und Organiser. He proved both national and international his talent.

His most famous project, however, is his radio show (Strident sounds) that ran on Globalbeats.fm for 6 Years, with Artists like Oliver Huntemann, Lexy
Ryan Davis, Oliver Schories, Microtrauma, Gunjah and many more, with which he presented his music all over the world!
