"It's You" is one of the most intense titles of Of Norway's 2014 album "Accretion", that we why we have chosen it for our remix contest with Beatport. We have received amazing results, however these three titles we have chosen as winners as each of them gave the track a wonderful new direction.

The grand winner Just Emma, chosen by Of Norway, turned it into a massive Tech-House bomb which will create mayhem on the floor.

Second winning remix was delivered by Despite, who created an amazing deep and floating trip. Really stand-out.

To round up the release we have chosen as third winner Eigengrau's very unique interpretation, a super sweet electronica version.

Out of Sorts bring the heat with an original titled ‘Ullus’ This is aptly named after a notorious powerful surf break in Bali. As its namesake suggests the tune slowly builds to a percussive workout the crashes to the breakdown, and that's where the surge kicks in!. A huge distorted bass stab echoes when the tune drops, and keeps cycling around to remind you that this wave is one to remember! Without a doubt, one of the strongest Out of Sorts cuts to date.

On remix duties, we have Niconé who flips this monster into a sublime roller. Giving a jacking rhythm and space to loose yourself in. The groove pulsates and the sub frequencies are hypnotic, with a subtle relentless acid line that follows to keep you locked.

Schöpfer von „Anything Else“ ist @himbrecht, ein rumänischer Produzent. „Die EP hat ihren Ursprung daher, als ich vor einiger Zeit jemanden gedatet habe“, erklärt der Musiker, „mein Herz und Verstand waren dann die Ideengeber für den Track „Anything Else“.“ Er könne nicht wirklich erklären, wie der Schaffungsprozess dann von statten ging: „Alles geschah auf einem sehr natürlichen Weg. Die gedatete Frau ist immer noch glücklich, und wir heiraten auch bald!“ (...) Also kam es nun zum Release, der von zwei Remixen unterstützt wird. Sweet sixteen on San Francisco's Manjumasi showcases a collaboration between bicoastal American producers: Dance Spirit (LA) and Adisyn (Miami). The results are as other-wordly as they are a natural fit, marrying Dance Spirit's psychedelic hyperspace sounds with the groove sensibilities of Adisyn. The title track "Kinships" leads the package with a sonic exploration of deep realms, showcasing the sound design skills and heady nature of this trio. "Portal From Mars" moves from innerspace back into the body, with a solid dancefloor groove laying the foundation for trippy synth expeditions.

The first remix comes from fellow Los Angeles producer DAVI, who turns up the heat on "Portal From Mars," crafting a proper late night stormer with a dark and driving edge. A foreboding and relentless energy pushes the track throughout.

Finally, Midas 104 explores another direction with his beautiful and sophisticated reworking of "Kinships." Here the groove is completely reconstructed, with broken-beat elements and subtle percussion that create space for complex melodic layering. The result is at once cerebral and deeply emotional, showcasing this Berlin-based producer's mastery of tension and balance.

Latest DHB release 'Broken Mind' EP by Jickow - which describes himself as a 'lover of melodies, sound, rhythm, but above all a lover of the emotions that music provides' - is classically chimerical.

The opening track 'Can't Get You Off My Mind (Original Mix)' is visionary and expansive with reverberating keys echoing in the far off distance with dense, warm pads and synths laying a framework that is cemented by the driving percussion. Within a little over 6 minutes the EP already displays vast ranges of the 'emotion that music provides'.

The following track 'Space Of Broken Heart (Original Mix)' begins rather ambient and ominous and then unfolds to altering synths that ring as space-age alarms. Every inch of this track is permeating with a thick resonating bass that sounds like the steady hum of some enormous terrestrial electronic instrument. Halfway through the machine is rewired with blurps of synths pinging in sporadically only to have the instrument kick back in and continue its otherworldly groove.

Jickow creates a soundscape that is futuristic and emotive and an EP that amplifies each element perfectly.
