Sciama's soundscapes are accompanied by an essay of writer and researcher Asia Bazdyrieva. Pixels densely packed*** expands on the contemporary media surrounds that wrap and entrap us. A constant stream of images and sounds of atrocities and genocidal violence transforms into an anaesthetising haze, ever present and indispensable, yet easily ignored.

Carrier presents Tender Spirits, the third turn on his eponymous series that explores his abstractions at its most sparse and cerebral.

Space maintains great purpose for Guy Brewer, having experimented with this previously for multiple drum-focused missives as Carrier. On his latest release, he treads deeper into the furthest regions of dub deconstruction, with Tender Spirits offering a serene path to the inbetween.

Across 8+ minutes, Light Candles, To Mark The Way moves towards the muted sublime; a gentle half time’d bliss that ebbs and floats across the enveloping mist. Slow Punctures gradually returns to dusk, eerily surveying the hollowed-out remains of its dub architecture with an off-kilter lurch. Carpathian echoes further in stark reduction, a weightless atonal zone anchored by the abstracted pressure suspended within.

Tender Spirits tracks Carrier at exciting new parallels, unfurling his most ascendant and capacious music to date.

Priori’s hit EP Pareidolia gets a well deserved remix treatment. The relation between Priori and Midgar started early 2023 with the release of his Pareidolia EP, where a remix for Keplrr followed quickly the year after. Now, early 2025, a group of close friends and admired artists were invited to rework the Pareidolia’s originals.

We're anticipating the release of the full EP with sound experimentalist Notte Infinita, who takes his turn on Pareidolia’s title track and creates some magnificent eyes-closed drum & bass hypnotism.

Aura Sonora returns with a second release to follow up the fantastic first one, this time it brings together two meticulous studio craftsmen, DYL & Tammo Hesselink. Their Moire Patterns EP kicks off with 'Pattern 1', a deep and rhythmic slice of rubbery techno that rides broken beats with atmospheric pulses up top. 'Pattern 2 slows down to a predatory crawl with icy pads making a dystopian vibe then 'Pattern 3' brings a sense of mystic tribal ritual deep in some futuristic jungle and 'Pattern 4' closes down with more fantastically crafted, dubby, broken rhythms that are topped with organic percussion and almost impossible not to move to. Pure rhythm science brilliance.

There’s something oddly comforting in the idea of a dead star still sending signals — distant, mechanical, yet somehow filled with meaning. Inertia, and the record as a whole, tap into that contradiction: the sensation of being impossibly far from home, yet still drawn toward something vast, unseen, and filled with memory.

While it may feel banal to visually represent what a pulsar in space looks like, the idea behind the cover is to reimagine that perspective — as if observing time and space passing by from inside a starship made of stone. The design draws loosely from sci-fi, Art Deco, and Moebius-inspired aesthetics.

[PIRANHA SIBERIA DUB] proudly and eagerly presents its 80th release. NAVAD – Liquid Dance EP.
Where the desert air meets the breath of the Mediterranean Sea, the sound of NAVAD (@navadnomad) is born. His Liquid Dance EP is the alchemy of waves and rhythms, forged into four crystals and refracted through five mirrors.

The originals sound like incantations:
::: Liquid Dance — the primordial element, the flow, the dance of water itself, shifting its form but never its essence.
::: Cold Waters — a descent into depths, where cold is not about fear but clarity, each strike like a drop falling into the well of memory.
::: Crickets — the whisper of the night transformed into rhythm; a choir of invisible conductors of the fields, translating nature into the language of electronics.
::: Spikes — crystals of light, the sharp edge of sound piercing through space.

But where there is a core, reflections are always born. And here enter the alchemists of remix:
::: emesh (@music_ams)  softens the sharpness of Spikes, turning them into liquid metal.
::: Oldschool_Dubtechno .Producer (@enercube & @x_fr) creates Crickets (Gryllus Campestris Revise) — a delicate transcription in the language of earth and grass, like an ancient manuscript unearthed in a dusty library.
