Description : Obtuse Swamp kicks off its deep organic biome concept catalog with upcoming artist @r010artist, a young live performer and producer based in Barcelona. R-010’s album dives into his new sound signature, a collection of 7 tracks inspired in between dub, DnB and IDM with a clear deep essence and a focus on soundscapes and energetic breaks, also explored in his last release at Inguma Records. The whole work it’s inspired by the aquatic ecosystems in Spain that are facing the impact of climate change. The package is completed with remixes by none other than Absis from Barcelona and Toxido Mask @toxido-mask from Berlin.

Naff and Animalia once again join forces to present a collaboration between OK EG and Priori. The project began with a session at the Melbourne Electronic Sound Studio, where initial sonic experiments took shape. These were later developed into four interconnected movements—each crafted to feel both weightless and propulsive. The result is four high-speed, hypnotic dance pieces, best described as ‘feather-tech.

OK EG & Priori - Serpentine (ANINAFF02)

Priori’s hit EP Pareidolia gets a well deserved remix treatment. The relation between Priori and Midgar started early 2023 with the release of his Pareidolia EP, where a remix for Keplrr followed quickly the year after. Now, early 2025, a group of close friends and admired artists were invited to rework the Pareidolia’s originals.

We're anticipating the release of the full EP with sound experimentalist Notte Infinita, who takes his turn on Pareidolia’s title track and creates some magnificent eyes-closed drum & bass hypnotism.

Close brother, Sunburn crew co-founder and Ngunnawal/Ngambri based Fontenoy with a patient melter that slowly arranges into deep and dark meticulous spaces. Thrumming atmospheres in combination  with thriving basslines that echo inside our inner being. He brings us into a new density of warped sonics. I'm highly recommending his @stockgrazing label that just saw the light. 

I’m very pleased that he participated and will be the one to guide us through his musical fascinations.

Neon Cleptu 36 → Fontenoy

Berlin-based artist Marie Tjong Ayong delivers a captivating four-tracker with her "motherland" EP, which unfolds like a sonic ritual—earthy, dubby, and steeped in natural rhythm. Navigating fluidly between dub techno, grey area, downtempo, and breakbeat, the EP carves out its own genre-blurring identity. The sound is rooted in a warm, organic atmosphere, driven by percussive detail and an unmistakably natural flow.
You can sense Marie’s background as a trained jazz trumpeter in the subtle musical intelligence that underlies each movement. From the driving, rhythm-heavy opener "freshelle" to the introspective, bass-laden "tiger balm", the EP continuously shifts form and energy. "desert of boredom" maintains the dub-soaked aesthetic while injecting a more forceful groove, before "rodeo of the bugs" rounds things off with deep, muted dub techno and refined percussive finesse.

About Marie Tjong Ayong

Marie Tjong Ayong is a Berlin-based producer, vinyl-DJ, and trumpeter.
Her sound weaves percussive lushness, warm harmonies, and genre-defying grooves into immersive, abstract sonic spaces. Airy, dreamy, and deeply groovy, her music invites listeners into a world shaped by texture and emotional depth, often reconnecting with her roots through layered sound design.
Born in 1994 to a jazz musician and a music teacher, Marie picked up the trumpet at the age of 12. From 2014 to 2019, she studied jazz trumpet at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln.
Her versatility and unique voice have since made her collaborator in a wide range of projects—from modern jazz ensembles like Leon Plecity’s Extraordinary Machine to Afrobeat and hip-hop collectives such as HYPNAGOGIA. She is also a member of the Rundfunk-Tanzorchester Ehrenfeld, the house band of ZDF Magazin Royale with Jan Böhmermann.
Marie Tjong Ayong’s work blurs boundaries—not only between genres, but between the tangible and the imagined.

There’s something oddly comforting in the idea of a dead star still sending signals — distant, mechanical, yet somehow filled with meaning. Inertia, and the record as a whole, tap into that contradiction: the sensation of being impossibly far from home, yet still drawn toward something vast, unseen, and filled with memory.

While it may feel banal to visually represent what a pulsar in space looks like, the idea behind the cover is to reimagine that perspective — as if observing time and space passing by from inside a starship made of stone. The design draws loosely from sci-fi, Art Deco, and Moebius-inspired aesthetics.

Crafted by Jugulaire, a DJ and producer who sculpts sound as raw, emotional material, this mix unfolds like an instinctive journey through an inner forest. Embracing neurodivergence and invisible disabilities as sources of creative force, she turns heightened perception into visceral soundscapes.

Naah, forget it. Next time...

I've always been into good drumbie or jungle, house music is where I live, but I like to travel outside as well, visit the neighbors so to speak, and make some drumnbass, ambient, techno or whatever.

This versatility is one major bonus electronic music production allows us to do, and in my opinion one of the major reasons why I love making and living in the sounds of good electronic music in my productions.

While I also fully enjoy jazz music and playing jazz piano, transcribing tracks by Bill Evans, Munk, Parker, Corea and many other legends, my mindset is in the study and mind expanding mode, as jazz theory in my opinion is one of the most interesting enigmas for a musician to get into "resolving", as it is really a gift that keeps on giving...

But once I get my Moogs up and running, those lights and leds start turning on in my head as well, and I switch to pure enjoyment of making more electronic music, often incorporating what I learned while jazz studying, I guess ;)

You could say that I see ALL music as one big family, which often gets into quarrels with each other, but are always there for each other when, and if the shit hits da fan.

As one of my great teachers at Berklee in Boston '99 said: "It's just Music, maan".
