MIDGE brings us his 3rd EP on Moom, “Love Sounds”, three deep house cuts with his signature sound.

Produced between London and Ibiza, MIDGE has used his collection of vintage synths and drum machines to create something unique and beautiful that we are sure you will adore as much as we do.

Channelling eclectic influences like Vince Clarke, Andrew Weatherall, Air, Keinemuzik and New Order, this three tracker is set to be a future classic. 

“Love Sounds” drops July 26th on Moom Sound and it’s definitely one for the house heads.

I've got so many mixes that I've recorded and never get round to listening to, let alone sharing.

This one was special though.  I close my eyes and I'm back by that pool, surrounded by happy faces dancing in the Ibiza sunshine.

The perfect afternoon, celebrating a v special man, organised with so much love and care by Lauren.

Tim and Laurens beautiful home full of love, dancing and a hundred smiles.

All new deep and vocal house music, collected over the long winter and saved for this special moment.

Sharing so that  if you were there you can re-live the party feels and if not, then I hope you get even just a tiny a sense of it.

PREMIERE: MIDGE - Firefly [Moom Sound]

A 2 hour, 35 track very eclectic all vinyl mix discovered deep on a lost hard drive from 8 years ago!  

Recorded in the sunny South of France in July 2016, channelling those sunflower and rosé vibes.

Featuring tracks by Kruder & Dorfmeister, Lamb, the amazing Yaw, Groove Armada, De La Soul, P.M. Dawn, UNKLE, Klaxxons, Air and Radiohead.  A pretty rare demo of Air's amazing Bossa 96, a dub interlude about half way through and a bunch of Radiohead remixes.  I think the Beatles jams are from the Grey Album.

One to listen to from the sofa.

I make music with machines, not computers and work between London and Ibiza - my studio is a mix of vintage and modern drum machines & synths. 

I also put on parties and DJ in London and Ibiza inc Cheeky, Bless This House and Community Spirit, plus my residency at Milk Face in Shoreditch, East London at the amazing 333 Club.
