Shure SM57 (the greatest microphone ever made) pointed directly at the cone, into a UAD Apollo | Twin. minimal eq until the mastering phase. Guitar 1 is the 1st take. The band is called BBFC (Bad Barry Finnerty Collective) and features the great Jost Nickel on drums, the fabulous Arnd Geise on bass, and the phenomenal Lutz Krajenski on Hammond organ. And three horns! This is one of four great Mose Allison songs we recorded.
