August marks Swiss duo Animal Trainer’s debut full release on Berlin’s mobilee with a new EP entitled ‘Yumala’.
When not running their club Hive in Zurich, Animal Trainer aka Adrian Flavor and Samy Jackson have had a string of impressive releases on renowned labels such as My Favourite Robot, Stil Vor Talent and Katermukke, not to mention their own imprint Hive Audio. Their fusion of tech-driven, slow-rave club anthems and impassioned, vocal led house has earned them hard-won recognition across Europe’s club circuit.

Kicking off with the energy-fuelled ‘Yumala’ that demonstrates Animal Trainer’s trademark slow- rave style, the cut blends together punchy bass stabs and murky synth drones building up to powerful chord streaks, heightened further by patterned sonic notes and chattering hi-hats. ‘Function None’ then provides an equally club-driven, energetic number yet with darker tones dominated by ominous, hypnotic vocals to round off the package in a thoroughly compelling style.

As Russia’s greatest exports in underground dance music, Julia Govor and Tripmastaz join forces to deliver ‘The Probability’ EP featuring the tripped out and ethereal techno cut ‘Equals Tree’.

Under his TMZ alias, Tripmastaz takes on a more techno-leaning motif to complement Julia Govor’s moody and evocative sound profile. Their debut collaboration shines with enveloping textures and infectious rhythms, showcasing their talents with an expertly crafted production. 

‘The Probability’ EP marks the first outing for both Julia and TMZ on Pan-Pot’s Second State imprint. It also features two more originals from the pair, including the breakbeat leaning ‘1-’ and the hard-hitting ‘Plus Two’. 

The digital release is out now, while the 12” will be released May 12.

Secret Cinema has been busy in the studio, experimenting with new sounds, ideas and inspirations. Séance EP is the first result. The lead track is a highlight in Secret Cinema’s sets, and after giving an early demo to Adam Beyer, it has been hammered in many sets by the Swedish Drumcode label boss.

Sci+Tec’s resident producer Raul Facio is back at it again with his new release ‘Déjà vu’. The name says it: This three track release brings us that feeling of familiarity, yet remains a mysterious obstinacy with its revolving basslines to get lost in, alongside his reverent spikes that ground us into a deeper dimension of recollection. While the flagship track ‘Deja Vu’ is a dance classic in the making with its hypnotic lyrics and crowd moving drops, Raul takes us on a mesmerizing spiral with the commanding pulses of ‘Dropped’, complimented by the minimal warehouse aesthetic that inspired ‘Portrait’. BIO:

Miditec was born in the 80s and early got in touch with electronic influenced music from Depeche Mode and Kraftwerk. He liked this sound but over the Years he  tried all kind of different music styles from oldschool Rap to Dark Metal.
It was not until the 90s that he found his love for electronic music again, when DJs like Westbam, Jeff Mills and Dave Clarke played at Love Parade or Mayday. After years of celebrating the vibe he decided to create techno sound by his own and bought his first equipment... 

And so the story began. 

At the beginning he was making Minimal and Tech House tracks, which were his early productions and soon he signed his first release "The Wild Life Ep" on Criminal R3cords. After a short periodof time the minimal sound got very boring to him and so he was lured to the darker side of techno and got flashed by this sound. Names like The Space Djz, Niereich, Sutter Cane, Dj Hi-Shock, Bjarki or Cortechs are his idols. With learning by doing and his love for the music he got new skills and pushed out some tracks which were recognized by labels like Elektrax, Beast Factory, Brachial Kontakt etc. This was the reason to push hiself forward to make his sound more heavy and powerful. 
His style is from driving to darkish Techno with sometimes a little minimal touch. The arrangements are always well setted and he understands to make a unique sound playing with atmos and those little thingsis that make Techno what it stands for. 
We can be curious what is still to come from this talented producer...
