Dyad (https://soundcloud.com/dyad-records) carry the flame for the dancefloor-centric sound of warehouses and big rooms worldwide. In their first outing for DBA they offer two options for the discerning techno selector, one uplifting and rip-roaring, the other dark and brooding.

Dyad is a collaborative music project and label by Ben Gibson and Fundamental Interaction, launched in 2014. Their first trilogy of EPs showcased a muscular and melodic sound, with tracks like From Another Place, Enclosed and Zou receiving strong support from a host of highly regarded DJs.

10th planet EP is the sophomore full ''Remco Beekwilder'' effort through Stranger's Self Reflektion imprint. This package, that bundles 3 copious originals also comes with an audacious ''Tripeo'' remix.

The Den Bosch based producer opens up with the title track ''10th Planet'' which serves as a enthusiastic opening track that could easily be utilised in any kind of club situation. Planet Moria (A2) is a more  psychotic twist on early Techno. The synthesis in this cut hint to the hay days of the Rotterdam sound for which of course Self Reflektion should be a warm home. 

Tripeo opens up the B side with his take on ''Planet Moria'' taking the work out of it's original context and cleverly moulding it into an adventurous club joint which is lead by original percussion bits and firm drum action. 

''Remco Beekwilder'' closes down REFLEKT008 with the stomper ''Irregular Acid''. An intrusive Techno cut for the more intense club moments.

Finally the re-release of one of the biggest Techno tunes ever and with a more than great remix of none other than Mr. Umek, who himself ! 
In 1994 it was just the right track to get a lot of people and the ever growing Techno community 
around the globe hooked to it and planted in their minds forever.
There are not many tracks that kept their energy and their vibe so strong over the years and will probably push the generations to come J We think that there a no more words necessary and the feedback speaks for itself ! Limited release on mindboggling picture disc !!!

A techno shift, Midnight Shift’s third release sees Recondite on his upward trajectory pair up with the relatively reserved Julien H Mulder. Both outputs possess a stripped down aesthetic, but while the former revels in the straight and shiny, the latter brings a touch of lightness and play. A tightly packed, hardworking 4-track EP that will serve the many moods of a DJ well.

Formerly from Bavaria and now based in Berlin, Recondite crafts ‘Borderline’, a track that broods in shimmery afterdark punch, such as with the last bright rays of an inevitably waning sun. ‘Stomper’ does not have to go on too long to make a point. It is a moody, melancholic, almost lovesick trudge topped off with restless hi hats. Accomplished in ambient space music, Julien H Mulder has been producing music since the 90s. To him, simplicity is best. The Stockholm resident’s ‘Won’t Say Nothing’ is a lightly drenched sigh paired with broken beat while ‘Old Rutins’ is a bassline-led kicker soon to run amok in dancefloors. They hint at what is to come with his forthcoming full EP on Midnight Shift.

￼Recondite will make his Singapore debut for the Midnight Shift Label Showcase at kyō (www.clubkyo.com) on 4 May 2013.
