He’s a producer, singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Chester and I’m really excited to have him join me off the back of the release of his collaboration project with Japanese guitarist Kazuki Isogai. We chat about the new project, his influences, production setup, what else he’s got lined up for the rest of the year and so much more.

A Summer Love Thang

Music heals. It has been a savior to my mental health and clarity in the toughest times, it always will be. That’s why I love it the way I do. This mixture is about that. It may not say it through words, but it was definitely a feeling. Those who listen can expect to space out and get lost in the synths and pockets of vibey drums. This is for your study session, your clean up around the crib. This is for the long drive home as the sun sets in the horizon. No looking back. The parade must move forward.

Astronaut On Parade

MIX #100….what a journey this has been? It has always about sharing new songs and fresh beats. It has always been about sharing vibes and positive energy to people who I am honored to serve. For context, Esco was the moniker I took on from the homies back in the day and that became the DJ name. When I was operating as Esco, the beats and songs were rough. Gangsta shit, gun shots and drug tales. It was an ode to the lifestyle I was living, but I loved the music so much. I never lost sight of wanting to share it with everyone and someday, hopefully, the world.
Midnight at The Laundromat is who I became. Life molded me into a softer, more peaceful human being. After going through the human experience, the beats, energy and vibes I play today have played a roll in my mental health and sanity. 
This was difficult to do. Why? Because it was like going into 2 realms of my own psyche. To dig into who I was and curate music for that person while being who I am today was difficult. I’m a very competitive person, so imagine if you will, being competitive within yourself. I lost sleep. I was agitated. I felt very chaotic. But once this was completed, the weight was lifted off of my shoulders. 
I can understand now why this was so difficult to do, yet as I listened back to it I couldn’t be more happier. I’m honored to share this with you all. I hope you enjoy it. I hope you feel the battle that was going on in my mind. I hope you feel the kinda energy Esco carried and the peace that Midnight at The Laundromat tries to maintain. The Yin and Yang. Take the journey of the back and forth, and I’m hoping by the time the mix ends, you will understand the evolution. Peace, Love, Namaste 🙏

Esco Meets Midnight

I dedicated myself to putting out more content this year and being more consistent. I love sharing music with everyone. I love the feedback and love that I receive. I’m honored to partake in your day, night, commute  or wherever you tune in. This mix so something to move to, it was a live set with the No Requests Radio fam and I took some chances!
