Undo's Factor City imprint celebrates 20 years on the dance floor with a compilation featuring 20 of the best songs from it’s catalogue. Twenty selected weapons from one of Spain's most-loved labels.
in the fall of 2003 Gabriel (Undo) and Victor (Vicknoise) pressed up some of his own music on a low-profile label inspired by some of the many small d.i.y labels that were on the forefront of the developments of electronic dance music. During these years the label has become a refuge as much as an open door vehicle driven by a saving Do It Yourself ethic and an unquenchable thirst for discovery. A low-key approach based, one based around friends and community, remains at the heart of Undo’s work with Factor City.
In Undo’s words “Its been an amazing ride, all an adventure. We came across all music industrie plagues but we survived, and now we're here. In a year which will have 2 special anniversary compilations and a few hot new releases”
The music as always is hard to define or label. From beautiful modular synth soundscapes, to sharp driven-synth melodies. From delicate and vaporouse electro to euphoric electronic rides. From darkness to sonic bliss. A lot of acid and a little bit of slow trance. From krautrock to techno and back. From 100 to 140 bpms. Nostalgic and futuristic. Emotive and mental. Music to dance and to explore.
“It was really hard to me to choose only 20 songs from our catalogue. It’s great to look back and hear so many tracks that I love. This is the first “best of” compilation we did in all these years. We always prefer to release new music and we will continue doing it”

The compilation starts with Jakob Mäder’s new track, Morning Sun. The Stuttgart-based artist produced a clear and super emotional house anthem. The tune evolves nicely, following its
touching synths and high energy bass. Its name says it all, probably one of the nicest tracks to play at early morning when the sun rises on the dancefloor. The second track is a more complex mix of italo basslines and rave pads & breaks, winking at the great work of influential artists as Skatebard. While we are still waiting for the summer, with “July Nights North of Bergen” Enzio Etchaberri sends us back to an ocean of memories made of endless nights spent dancing till we fall asleep. The EP closes with ValAir, Mister T. records label owner,’s first track on the label. Choir Offense is an interesting mix, focusing first on powerful and organic drums, leading us through the tune. While it could have been
just another tool, the track reveals another dimension with its rave stabs giving it a deeper touch in direct line with the two other productions of the EP.

Musik Zum Tanzen really appears as a tribute to high energy italo-house and warehouse / rave aesthetics of dancers being in communion all night under the starlight and the bliss of early sunrises.

Manel Ruiz has lost many tracks during all these years. He’s a prolific but also a chaotic producer. But we are lucky as some of them have been found, restored, mixed again and mastered by the man himself for our listening pleasure. Some of these songs where made in 2003. Sonic miniatures full of little and unexpected details and textures. Pure bliss.

In the annals of musical history, there exists a tale of two intrepid souls named Bruce and Vector, who embarked on their harmonious journey in the twilight of the 2000s. Armed with their trusty guitar and drums, they cut their teeth in the local bands of their homeland, honing their craft and absorbing the myriad of melodies, sequences, and beats that would eventually coalesce into a unique soundscape. Nights turned into mornings as they lost themselves in the live symphonies they crafted, all while weaving poetic teenage verses into their musical tapestry.
Yet, just when their musical path appeared to be set in stone, Bruce experienced an awakening. An awakening that propelled him towards the uncharted waters of electronic music. This was no fleeting flirtation; it was a profound dive into the abyss of midi sounds, initially echoing in his mind and later emanating from his fingertips. The year 2021 marked the genesis of a new chapter, as Bruce adopted the moniker Ricardo Erbia and introduced his electronic creations to the world.
However, the true magnum opus of this tale would transpire in the sultry summer of 2022, with the release of "The Sun of Ruh," a collaborative masterpiece that saw Bruce, Vector, and the enigmatic Giorgio Isaev unite under the aegis of Nothing is Real Records.
Their shared dream? To grace the stage in Grenoble, France. Bruce and Vector, with their inexhaustible energy and insatiable drive, embarked on a collaborative journey with artists and labels from far-flung corners of the globe, determined to ascend to the pinnacle of their craft.
The result of their tireless pursuit? An opus that materialized as an 8-bit symphony, a pulsating and vivacious celebration of sound and light. Imagine a rave within the hallowed walls of a Gothic church, where beams of light pierce the ancient shadows, and music fills the sacred space. Embrace their sonic creation and follow their melodic voyage.
