"Bird Rib" is a surprising track with an intimate beginning, evolved by a steady bass and rhythm section, supplying a mellow-minded, indie-folk atmospheric track. The song develops with lyrical questioning of the past, what could have been different, what's the stayed the same, and what is about to change, all within an extremely personalized relationship. The lyrics provide depictions of modern descriptions  with vivid & specific imagery, and vocally vulnerable sonic texture. The musical bridge provides a torpid, garage grunge-guitar sequence capped by the outro of a revisited verse/thought/suggestion. "How to feel the way I felt before I knew what you know now".

Aaron Parke is a musician living in Music City, USA. As a songwriter and part of local band And the Boys, Parke is a chaotically creative member of the Nashville music scene. He is an old soul with a modern brain, seeing the world in technicolor patterns and computer code.

Parke’s upcoming EP The Willowside was recorded with Nashville artist and producer Cheyenne Medders. The Willowside is informed by the past but feels fresh, a laidback record best enjoyed marinating in the sunshine with a libation close by.
