MightyKat was born with a sixth sense for rhythm. Counting her main influences as jazz, disco and soul, her unique sound bridges eclectic house and the funkier side of techno. MightyKat's sophisticated style and refined track selection define her signature sound, while her love of the dance floor inspires her to take the crowd on a unique journey every time she hits the decks.

Playing for over 25 years, MK is a veteran of the Montreal electronic music scene who’s talent got her established on the international scene, picked up by the American-based Listed Agency.

In between her travels, she continues to organize and promote local events like the popular party, "Purr Club Social" into different venues in Montréal.   She’s has also been the Musical Director for seven editions of Quebec’s prestigious comedy awards, the “Gala Des Oliviers”, between 2005 and 2019.

Both at home and abroad, she has left her indelible mark on prestigious clubs and festivals

Internationally, she’s graced the decks at prestigious clubs like Hedeigluhen (Berlin), KaterBlau (Berlin), Club der Visionaere (Berlin), Output/Panther Room (Brooklyn), The Brooklyn Mirage (Brooklyn), Members Only (Brooklyn), Flash (Washington, DC), La Santanera (Playa del Carmen, Mexico), Batofar (Paris). She has left her indelible mark on the BPM Festival, famed Burning Man camps Mayan Warrior, Music Savages, Panda Lounge, the widely known Burning Man party "Tutu Tuesday" with Atish, WMC's infamous Ship of Fools/Listed parties (Miami), and two editions of the SXM Festival in Saint Martin.
Her true passion for music continues to propel her towards exciting new projects.
