Today, we experience the great work of el. and his new album BEAM, and I am thrilled to share this incredibly well made project with all of you.

Collaborating with el. has been such a smooth experience. Our journey began in 2019, exchanging positive ideas, energy, and now we are honored to release his album BEAM together on the catalogue.

To me, it is already a classic.

Exploring and listening through beats from various producers often feels monotonous, with many sounding similar. However, when you press play on a track from el. it tells a unique story. His exceptional ability to craft groovy drums, merge the low end with classic elements from the hard-hitting boom-bap we grew up on, makes his music truly stand out – the track selection feels almost cinematic how he tells a story through the beats.

el. approaches the album as explained down below.

“The title ‘Beam’ comes from ‘being on your own light’ in times of darkness. It’s a common phrase but I wanted to both emphasize and personalize my perception of this with my project.  Many of us experience moments in our lives where we may feel lost, confused, and unsure of who to turn to. Speaking from my own experience, I’ve realized in those moments I often discovered my true strength and was able to get through whatever obstacles were blocking me.

I became the ‘light’ I was searching for all along.”
