What’s better to get there through lovely sexy vibes? 6 years ago I was still only playing in Holland and played often together with an MC (MC Haits) who also travels the world now spreading love through his vocals. He was the one who always came to me and literally kept repeating himself by the words: you play such f**cking Deep & Sexy tunes like Solomun. So a year later when I started my podcast series I already had the name of my podcast series. Next month I will bring you a more energetic/dancy/clubby version of what I do when I play in nightclubs so you also have a feel of what I do when the night is falling and the sun is down. Avocado is a DJ & Producer from Cologne, Germany. Over the past years as a DJ playing for Lustig Wandern (@lustigwandern), he’s established himself as an integral part of Cologne’s underground electronic music scene. 
Having played countless gigs at some of the finest clubs Germany has to offer, his residency at the famous Cologne-based club ‚Odonien‘ is probably the most important station in his career - his ‚living room‘ provides him with the musical freedom he needs to unfold as an artist. 

Avocado’s trademark sound as a DJ ranges somewhere between Tech House, Deep House and Techno - he himself likes to refer to his sound as ‚Dark Tech‘. Sometimes more, sometimes less melodic, always groovy, energetic & dark. Despite his young age (27), Avocado‘s experience as a DJ enables him to adapt to any crowd - at any given time or place, Avocado knows how to drive an audience crazy. 

Lately, Avocado’s expanded his portfolio by teaming up with his like-minded friend Cross, an aspiring producer who he discovered on SoundCloud back in 2013. As Cross & Avocado (@crossundavocado), the two spent all 2018 producing & playing gigs together. Their smashing club tune „Savior“ has brought them nothing but love & caught the attention of numerous DJs & Labels. The same-titled ‚Savior‘ EP is the Duo‘s first official release [Release: 2019/05/03 on Klexos Records]. There is a lot to come in 2019 - stay tuned!

Those might not be special in the way we expect, but it will be special in the way that serves the collective most. Nevertheless, we will survive this new era. Because we have something quite similar, under our skins, don't we?

The hippie-est of the crew, often seen floating from festival to festival, soundscape to soundscape, she's a stubborn optimistic and a music hunter.

Always looking forward to the next step, she is known to all as the creative owl of the bunch, heading up Deep Like’s musical and artistic direction. Born in her restless mind, Deep Like is a reflection of her colourful personality and her spotted talent when it comes to finding up and coming artists, leading the floor and its dancers in lock step.

Sometimes dramatic, sometimes dreamy Josephine’s sets transport her crowds to hypnotic journeys, with each attendee following her intricate storylines track for track with a sense of enchantment and intrigue. Eyes closed, hands up, with that magic sparkle that keeps you dancing, Josephine is a notable bright spark and one to make a note of.

SIDD aka Sherif Sid Ahmed, was born and raised in Alexandria, Egypt. His connection to electronic music started more than 15 years ago and he was inspired by world known DJs and producers. He lived in both Canada and Germany where during these times he was exposed to festivals and parties, while also getting engaged in the music scene. 

SIDD has been actively involved in his music and has been part of a growing electronic music concept in Egypt called Melodic Room. Hosting bi-monthly events that bring international and local DJs to perform in its resident club. 

Having been influenced by the Melodic House & Techno and Ethereal genres, SIDD conveys his style through his sets which encompasses melodic yet emotional dimensions and rhythmic sounds.
