After releases on Moon Harbour, Saved Records and remixing the likes of John Digweed, Sasha, Hot Since 82 and Hector Couto, Sabb (this time) with Serge Devant make their debut on Circus Recordings.

The original follows a melancholic tone, and features the hypnotic vocal talents of forest, a poignant and effective dance floor cut

The project couples Sabb’s grooves and Serge's melodic background with fascinating results, something more experimental for them both, and perfectly to accommodating Forrest’s sublime vocal.  

Two SLAMMING remixes come from Alan Fitzpatrick and Bontan who both use their identities to beat the original to a pulp. (in a good way of course…)

Finishing the release is ‘Jamman” a tripped out stripped back groove that echo’s hazey escapades at Dc10…  authentic house music

Berlin based DJ and producer Patryk Molinari steps up for remix duties and gives Verana his 303 Treatment. Patryk knew electronic music would be a big part of his life from an early age. His late teenage years would become the moment he realised this passion was so strong and he started to produce his own music. He was influenced by the Big Beat scene but soon discovered house music opting for the deeper shades within the genre. He has released a plethora of top notch cuts across various labels in the last several years and shows no signs of letting up, definitely an artist to keep tabs on. As you'd expect from the remix title we're treated to a healthy dose of vintage 303 acid. A chunky kick drum leads the way as a meandering acid line coasts in the background over a superb thick bass. Cool FX, gated synths and swirling pads add colourful textures but it's the acid that gets under your skin giving this track a unique flavour. Top notch stuff you do not want to miss.

The 5,000 likes celebrations is upon us, what a journey it has been! Since the start, the support for the grainy mixes and the content we post on Facebook has been massive and we are truly appreciative.

We wanted the 5k mix to really represent the grainy sound, through a combination of hypnotic elements and deep, groovy vibes.

Following from ‘Catch The Beat’ featuring Cakes da Killa, ‘Look Ahead’ is the latest single taken from Honey Dijon’s forthcoming album ‘The Best of Both Worlds’. Given its explosive world premiere by Honey in her Essential Mix, the track quickly became Classic’s most sought-after record with DJs clamouring for upfront copies. 

Originally performed by Aquarian Dream back in the 70s, ‘Look Ahead’ became a cult dance music staple, covered by Danny Tenaglia in the 90s and also by King Unique. Honey and Tim K enlist the vocal talents of Sam Sparro, the Australian singer who became a household name with ‘Black and Gold’ in 2008. Bringing ‘Look Ahead’ into 2017, Honey and Tim K update an old-school house beat with super-tight, string-enhanced production from Luke Solomon and Lance Desardi. In ‘The Best of Both Worlds’ Honey continues to bring the worlds of old-school and contemporary dance music together, for what will be one of the most anticipated artist albums of the year.

Cycling through the omnidirectional winds of Copenhagen, he realized how music can give you the strength to physically bike through a storm, but can also help you getting into a different place of mind, away from the storm itself.
