EPM Podcast 173 comes from Dutch artist Nadia Struiwigh. Rooted in Rotterdam and currently based in Berlin, Nadia has carved a unique niche in the electronic music scene. Her genre-defying compositions, blending ambient, techno, and electro, exhibit her signature ethereal and melodious production style. Here she takes her futuristic electronic approach into a world of twisted drum n bass, infused with elements of techno and IDM. Her versatile expertise extends beyond music; she collaborates with pioneering music brands such as Roland, Korg, Teenage Engineering, Arturia, and others, embodying her reputation as a leading tech enthusiast within the industry. Her contributions to esteemed platforms like Resident Advisor, Phantasy, Bleep, Slam Radio and Superbooth underscore her adaptability and prowess across a wide spectrum of electronic music, further solidifying her multifaceted presence in the field.

Nadia plays the Blueprint label night @ fabric on Saturday 20 January alongside James Ruskin, Regis and Rene Wise in Room 1 with Room 2 hosted by the Zenker Brothers and Josey Rebelle.

TECH CLUBBERS PODCAST W/ LUKE HESS

Born in 1980 and raised in the Detroit area, Luke Hess has harnessed a deep appreciation for electronic music and the expression of the underground movement.  His background in mathematics and engineering has given him a scientific approach to the dance floor, using frequencies, tones, and  soundscapes to transform surroundings and mood.  
His faith based music production has landed him numerous vinyl releases ( EP's, LP's, and remixes ) on labels like Planet-e, Rekids, FXHE, Echocord, Kontra Musik, Dolly, Finale Sessions, Ornaments, and Prime Numbers among others.  His debut album was  released in early May 2009 by Denmark based label Echocord.  In 2010 he began his own interpretation of Detroit techno with his new Detroit project and record label - DeepLabs.  
His sophomore album “Keep On” was released on FXHE records in 2012 and received a Recommended 4.5/5 rating on Resident Advisor. With 20 years of DJ experience, he is regarded as a perfectionist behind the decks layering his tracks in a very detailed and hypnotic manner.  
Luke has played at many notable venues and festivals in Europe, Asia, Australia, and North America including 10 separate appearances at the illustrious Berghain/Panoramabar in Berlin. Luke’s continued hard work in the studio and as a music collector/curator combined with his unyielding interest in technology and sound will no doubt stimulate the boundaries of electronic music.

Starting with her pure love for music, collecting records and clubbing lead Miia Magia to become one of the pioneering female figures in the Finnish club scene. Her musical journey took her through 90's UK alternative rock and 00's Nu Disco & House, finally arriving in today's classic Deep House and Techno.

DJ'ing all over Finland, organizing parties and working residencies at legendary Helsinki clubs such as Semifinal, mbar and DTM also made her a strong character in the LGBTQ+ scene, leading the Helsinki Pride parade for several years in a row. Invitations kept coming to Estonia, Spain and Sweden to play alongsides some of her favourite artists like Axel Boman, Cari Lekebusch, DJ Hell, Sister Bliss, Proteus, Orion and Roberto Rodriguez. Miia best describes her own style of playing as "deep and moody, sharp and groovy".

Living and breathing the Stockholm underground club and rave scene between 2015-2019 refined her skills as a DJ and ignited the start of her own label with Mr. Barth (aka. Cari Lekebusch). Motto Sono Records is now actively and comprehensively representing art and deep emotional grooves for the demanding DJ and audience with the motto "the only good system is a sound system”.
