Antaris 2014 – Back to Mars Dark Psy & Forest DJ set

The world-bridger carries us from one world to the end. More and more, I've become also this kind of DJ: bridging the gap between artists of different genres. This set connects Paralocks & Harmonic Rebel, going from 175 to 152 BPM. It was a tricky time slot & a tricky set to put together - to go down in speed but to keep the energy up. I hope you all enjoy :)

*Excuse the weird intro but I forgot to press record before I started to play! So, the first track called Warner Brothers by N.Gin is missing from the set. The last tracks in the mix cannot be released to the public, yet, so have also been cut out.

Ricardo Donoso is a composer, percussionist and electronic musician from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil who currently resides in Boston. After having studied composition at Berklee College of Music and the New England Conservatory he has participated in a slew of projects over the years, from holding down the drum chair in new music/avant-metal visionaries Ehnahre to scoring for recent documentary features such as Greg Barker’s “Homegrown: The Counter Terror Dilemma” (HBO pictures 2016) and the Grand Prize short film winner in Brazilian cinema “Casimiro Effect”. Donoso has since collaborated with film makers & video artists on commissions worldwide creating immersive environments & performances.
As a solo recording artist, Donoso has released music on esteemed labels such as Denovali, Digitalis, Further Records and Hospital Productions, and continues to tour throughout Europe, Asia and Latin America. He is most concerned with building and manipulating an immersive sound world that blurs the line between light and dark, hope and despair, past and future. Under a chain of progressive rhythms, cinematic textures and elegant melodicism, Donoso’s work pushes through with piercing strength, manipulating a sonic wave through space with nothing but pulse and mind blowing intensity.

Podcast #016 : Periskop. 
Periskop is a solo project of Danish electronic music producer Danny Kreutzfeldt. The style has been described as industrial dub techno, dark ambient and submarine noise.
Most output of Danny Kreutzfeldt was produced in periods of hyperproductivity from 2001 to 2008 with the first production efforts dating back to early teenage-hood in the mid-90s. Contemporary Periskop releases are still predominantly based on remade or modified tracks from this body of work.
Kabalion Records released the full-length 'Immerse' in 2015 with deep pulsating dark ambient and the EP 'North' in August 2016 with dark ambient techno.
At the moment Periskop is not an active live act, but Danny Kreutzfeldt is performing as DJ from time to time under his own name or as Periskop. He is also currently affiliated with the Danish doom metal band SOL.

Nico Campanella was born in Putignano (Italy). His first approach to music took place at the age of 11 years when he started to study piano, and shortly after, thanks to his great devotion and deep passion for everything concerning music, he was involved in different local bands.
Subsequently, his love for electronic music started to blossom, thanks to great artists such as Basic Channel, Robert Hood, Substance et Vainqueur, Derrick May, Jeff Mills and many others.
During the last few years, his necessity to propose a multifaceted vision of electronic music, made it necessary to create new projects, such as “Kaelan”, which became his main alias for techno. Under his side project “2030” he propose electro inspired music, while “Ixm” is his pseudo for dub techno music.
He is owner of Subosc and co-owner of Ranges label projects. The former aims to propose modern and classy techno music, while the latter is a tribute to reminiscent dub techno sounds.
At the moment he’s collaborating with some of the most known techno european labels such as CONSTRUCT RE-FORM, CLFT, Monnom Black.

The first edition of radiOzora’s very new showcase Wildthings Records Series will be kicked off by UK-based label artist Alex Diplock a.k.a. E.V.P.

E.V.P – An immersive, cinematic audio experience for the dance floor.
His uniquely positive, groovy and deeply psychedelic approach to music production has earned him well deserved respect among the global production community, and since moving to Brighton and upgrading his studio the sound has not stopped improving.

Originating from psychedelic rock music he first attended Guitar Tech at brunel university at the age of 16, however deciding that electronic production was his path, he began with electronic music production. He later obtained his production skills learning to record, mix and master rock bands using SSL mixing consoles and pro-tools with Logic audio back in 2000, after which he obtained an RSA approved level 3 GNVQ studio engineer certificate.

Now with a fully developed sound and 7 albums in 9 years across 2 projects E.V.P has decided to create his first E.P for Wildthings Records.
“Wildscape” (WildEp008) has pushed the envelope even further establishing his ‘Next Gen Ready’ psychedelic sound. This 3 track E.P highlights the achievement of 20 years development in the fusion of dance floor music sonic exploration. The E.P also contains the use of stereo 3D audio that dimensionally unfolds the listening experience with the the use of headphones and huge sound systems alike. This EP and all the Wildthings catalogue can be found on the Wildthings band camp page with the possibility now of purchasing a yearly subscription to gain access to all the Wildthings discography and the next 12 months releases, for a bargain price! Mind bendingly good stuff!

His dedication to the music has taken him global and He has not stopped travelling and playing at some of the best parties and festivals around the world, in far off countries such as Mexico, Panama, Brazil and India and also a wide range of european countries and summer festivals, Wildthings records has seen the E.V.P sound in high demand.

In the last year or two Alex started Wild Mastering an online mastering service which has become very successful and with this he has worked on many releases for many different labels further solidifying his reputation for professional sound quality within the scene, He is now working with creative partner and mastermind programmer DJ Apex (Neil Mendoza) to create a Next Gen 3D/AV experience.

Don’t miss the next episode of Parvati Records series with a special psy trance mix by VLASTUR.

Vlastur started his journey into music as a bass player.
Back in the mid-80’s, he was a founding member of the Cohash Funk, an underground funky Athenian group. In 1998 alongside Frequency Freak, fellow Cohash funk guitarist and Spiris, a dubby drummer, formed “Apeuthias Syndesi” now known as Direct Connection, a dub experimental laboratory. They released “Dub Infection” in 2007. Even though he started as a Bassist in Direct Connection, he was the main FX Sound Engineer of the band.

In the meanwhile he was also working as a session musician with various artists and bands. In 2004 he teamed up with Palyrria an ethnic-electronica band and in 2005 recorded “Methexy” with them and has played in many of their gigs.

The (InterAxion Dub-2009 Eqnation recs) project was the first fully length work of Vlastur. Influenced by all his beloved sounds from Dub to Dubstep trhough Psy, Ambient, Drum n’ Bass and Traditional Mediterranean sounds !

In early 2015 Parvati recs released the EP “Parvati In Dub by Vlastur”.It’s about a RMX project by him in Dub with some of very well known tunes of Parvati label artists flavored by Vlastur’s sound!!(second part is on the way).

He participated like bass player in the super band “Novelty Engine” with the artists Ajja,Cedric “Congo” Myton ,R.ZEE Jackson ,Steve Hillage (System 7),Miquette Giraudy (System 7) ,Dick Trevor, Ott and Dymons on August of 2015 at OZORA Festival in Hungary.

Exept those artists Vlastur has co-operated with artists such Gaudi,Bombay Dub Orchestra,Irina Mikhailova,Etnica,Tengri,Jef Stott and others.

Vlastur Full Band is the live project of him. The active members right now are: Dark Elf (Synth/Machines) + Adil Smaali on vox and Moroccian instruments+Tolis aka DreamMadeTeller on percussions and vox, Wee (Guitar) + G.Verix as a sound engineer, while other have been participating the previous years, like Frequency Freak (Guitar/Synths), Spyro K. (Drums), Helena S. (Vocals), Pan Kaperneka (Flute), Akbar (Percussion), Or Balak (Drums) and Dinos Z. on the sound consoles. Vlastur believes that the sound evolves constantly while the vibe remains the same, from Rock n’ Roll to Punk and from Dub to Psy.

We’re on festival frequencies and presenting a new album with GOVINDA, who’s joining us with a blaster mix to get you fully pumped for the launch of his VOL.II Jungle Calling compilation, and all tried and tested at this past summer’s dancefloors, and ready for you to blast to, if no sooner than at the upcoming Goan edition of the Jungle Calling party series.

Govinda is an Italian dj and psytrance party organizer. Born in 1986 to parents who had been traveling for many years, he grew up living in Goa experiencing its magic and freaky context from an early age. His first party in 1999 brought a full understanding of the Goa reality with its emphasis on freedom, and manifested his attraction to trance music. He started collecting music and playing it, at first with a Minidisc player and later with CDJs. In 2002, Govinda played his first dj set in the well-known Ninebar in Goa, thus marking the beginning of his dj career. He instantaneously loved the feeling of enjoyment he could provide through music and the palpable interconnection that forms on a dancefloor. After a practice season, he was soon playing in the main legendary party spots in Goa: Discovalley, Paradiso, Primrose, Monkey Valley, Hilltop and many more. In 2005, he was signed to Spun records (the GMS label). Two years later, he went on his first international tour where he played along artists such as GMS, Pixel, Alien Project, Spacecat, Domestic, Perplex and Psysex, in Thailand, Nepal, Goa as well as several European countries. During the Goa season of 2007/2008, Govinda started following a different vibe and looking for a more psychedelic sound that would best fit his personality. At the time, Phatmatix, Digital Talk and Concept were his favorite artists. At the Mountain Madness Festival in Nepal of 2008, he played a set right before Ajja and fell in love with his sound. The meeting also started a connection with Peak Records, which later led to Govinda being signed on as a label dj. While frequently performing at Goan hotspots such as Club Westend, Hilltop, Ninebar and Shivavalley, he created with a group of friends the NightRainbow Project, a Goa-based party organization responsible for more than ten parties in the first season of its existence. The sum of all his experiences finally took the the shape of the organization/label Believe Lab, founded by him and a few other fellas. Today Govinda and Believe Lab have been an important operator in international festivals in Italy, as Blackmoon Festival, Sonica. Believe Lab actively organized its own festival, 7 Chakras, where Govinda and his crew finally have the chance to promote positive messages as environmental awareness and self respect to people through music. His musical journey is not over yet and his dj sets are just fitting more and more any kind of psychedelic dancefloor.

Greek producer, CONFO is back on Parvati Records series.

Confo is Thanasis Confortini, based in Athens,Greece.
I am born in 1987 near Athens, from an italian/greek family of music’s teachers so I started very early, around 6 years old, to study music theory and classic violin at the National Conservatory of Music in Athens.

Psychedelic Trance music and parties became part of my life also at a very young age when I started to collect music and play as a DJ in local parties of the underground psychedelic Greek scenevery quickly I felt addicted to this music and lifestyle so I begun to believe in the dream of being a musician in this life and in 2007 i started my own music production project…
2 years after, in 2009, I decided to meet the scene at its roots so i went to Goa and also to travel through Mama India It was for me a very special trip and somehow the confirmation of the dream…

In 2013, after some years of djing for dancefloors in Goa and Europe and with hours and hours of work with the frequencies in the studio, my project Confo was signed by Giuseppe and the Parvati Records Family. Here I released Kosmos, my very first released track ever and it was right with the 1st Parvati Records Digital EP: Digitally Yours.
In february 2015 i released my first EP: No Intro,presenting 3 tracks given out as Digital Gift/Free Download and for which i got a lot of positive feedback from people and dancefloors around the world.

With my music I try to create deep funky atmospheres, crystal sounds and always focusing onthe dancing !

I might play in my Live performances myelectric violin to make the dancefloors more romantic and melting on the sounds that come out from the king of the instruments!

If i am not travelling the world I am normally always working in the studio and planning lots of new releases and new projects for the future !

I’m not a robot – I’m a nobot
Sometimes it’s quite funky to be a nobot. No robot no fun you’d say. But that’s only half the story. There’s a huge evergrowing pulsating brain that rules from the centre of the Ultraworld, directly connected to Nobots DAW – if USB is working. To ensure that noises beyond the major consensus narrative will be merged into relatively non-linear structures. And that’s where the fun starts.

In 2014 two guys wanted to get back to where they once belonged. There’s Oli/Brainshaker – party organizer and spinning the wheels of steel since decades – as well as Martin/Z-Neo ex Naked Tourist and producing various electronic music for a while.

During the journey to the other side they rediscovered their need for kinky dark psychotic structures and sounds. Midi and CV/Gate are Nobots friends. Cybertechnologies like the world wide web are used as an infinite sample source. Whenever there is a dumb thoughtless sentence, Nobot switches into recording mode.

After 9 years it’s such a bliss to be back on the most lovely family label called Parvati-Records.

Dj Mikel can turn his uniform audience into a single continous flow where everybody converge from the material lost during his mesmerising dj-sets. 

It all began in 2000, when he started playing music at techno-trance parties. Here he discovered his passion for mystical Indian atmosphere and for psychedelic world. 
After 4 years spent in psytrance music ambient he found his musical way, discovering and sharing with his public his abstract and ethereal vision translated into sound.
From that moment he decided not only to play music, but even to create events and new artistic ideas.
Mikel has a very particular sound, transcendental and hypnotic. A deep music research that end in hours of pure musical delirium, showing a unique personal choice in order to create a place out of time and space. A perfect duo between mind and body.

From 2014 onwards, Mikel brought his musical artistry to the legendary record label Parvati Records, where he showcased more organic and mysterious sets, enriched with wild grooves. His contribution to Parvati Records solidified his reputation as a DJ with a unique touch and a deep connection to psychedelic music.

In the spring of 2023, Mikel took a bold step towards new musical horizons by joining the renowned record label Pleiadian Records. Here, he continued to evolve and adapt his style, presenting more spacious and futuristic sets. His talent for adapting to diverse dancefloors has allowed him to maintain a lasting impact on the electronic music scene.
