Das Side Projekt aus den beiden separaten Acts "Arts & Leni" und "Wolfgang Lohr" geht in die zweite Runde. Nach ihrer Debüt EP, im Oktober 2012 auf dem Berliner Label Ostfunk, folgt nun das zweite Release bei Ton Liebt Klang (Hamburg). Herausgekommen sind nach akribischer Frickelei zwei Tech House / Minimal Nummern mit dominanten Basslines und sehr lässigem Groove, für den tanzbaren Bereich auf der Clubwiese. Mit dem Einsatz von analoger Hardware, sämtlicher Souveränität beider Künstler und einer ausgefeilten eigenen Stilistik, ist das Ergebnis eine gesunde musikalische Mischung aus dem sich perfekt ergänzenden Duo!

Für den Remix von "Take This Back" wurde Fernando Tessis (Brasilien), Labelhead bei Kombo Records, ins Boot geholt. Mit seiner Interpretation ist eine druckvolle und ebenfalls sehr tanzbare, alternative Version kreiert worden, deren Coolness ihresgleichen sucht!

The Chosen Two (Berlin) haben mit dem Remix zu "Red Curson" mal wieder ihre Remix-Qualitäten unter Beweis gestellt und eine ganz eigene aber authentische Aufarbeitung, mit starker Bassline, zurecht geschustert. Sind aber bei ihren Leisten geblieben und ergänzen die Veröffentlichung zu einem runden Erlebnis und Ergebnis für den Verlegebereich im dampfenden Club!

Release info: Helmut Ebritsch is best known for his work as one half of Klartraum, alongside partner in crime Nadja Lind as well as for his work as Hatikvah with vocalist Florian Schirmacher.
Helmut has been releasing since 1997 on labels like Soma, Darkroom Dubs and Sleep Is Commercial and wrote this tracks in Berlin using self built synths, effects and field recordings as well as an array of hardware.
Helmut Ebritsch & Friends is a perfectly programmed and seductively sequenced ride from start to finish. It takes you up and down in some style and his friends AKA AKA & Solee join him on this wild ride on Burlesque Musique.

With their first EP on Burlesque Musique, Funkbrainer & Kokenn seduce us into welcoming Summer. „L’ile“ is an island of harmonies and melodies, waves of synergic synths mount up to gigantic sound fountains. This island is colourful and playful, while „Desire“ draws us more into a melancholic and thoughtful atmosphere. On a solid bass construct, subdued bells ting in the distance while a more and more terse combination of synths build up an emphasis of an upbeat mood in the foreground.

Already a musical staple in the house and techno scene for over a decade, Bloody Mary has traveled all over the world rocking festivals and clubs as an international artist. Bringing her exceptional music taste and elegant personality to the stage of festivals such as WMC, Movement, ADE and Sonar. Her travels have also seen her grace the decks of world renowned clubs like Fabric London, Space Ibiza, Panoramabar Berlin, Rex Club Paris and many more. 

In celebrating the 5 year anniversary of Dame Music, Bloody Mary has put together an exclusive mix for us featuring a handful of tracks from the EP, as well as an overall house music education as only the diverse DJ can provide. Bloody Mary says of her mix: "The podcast is a mix in between dame-music production made by artists or myself ( 5 years anniversary) and some tunes I love playing."

Solid Grooves co-founder Michael Bibi debuts on the label with three techy rollers including a remix from Dutch producer ONNO.

Having established itself as one of the UK’s most consistent event series, Solid Grooves has continued to prosper since forming as a record label, with early releases from the likes of Wade, Kuo Climax and co-founder PAWSA. London’s Michael Bibi, who founded the imprint alongside PAWSA, has earned his stripes as a producer over the last year, dropping recent releases on MadTech, Electronique and Lost Records. 

Percussive and rhythmic, ‘Restoration’ initiates the package with rolling drums and a soft purring bassline, before ‘Excuse You’ delivers thudding kicks, metallic snares and a rumbling low-end suited for the peaktime. 

‘Standing Near’ is then a bouncy production with an infectious vocal and arcane atmospherics, making for the trippiest original of the package. 

Known for his releases on the likes of Truesoul, VIVa and Moon Harbour, ONNO ties up the release with a formidable remix featuring undulating percussion, dusky effects and a distorted vocal sample.

Inzwischen gehört Mikadoo in seiner Heimatstadt Berlin nicht mehr zu den Unbekannten. 2008 startete er seine Karriere in der elektronischen Szene und spielt seitdem regelmäßig in regionalen Clubs wie zb. in der Magdalena/Tresor,Stattbad. Auch überregional durfte er sein Können schon in einigen Clubs wie dem Bullitt Club in München, der Theater Fabrik, Centum in Erfurt oder der Rakete in Nürnberg unter Beweis stellen.

In musikalischer Hinsicht konzentriert sich Mich aka Tonband inzwischen speziell auf  Minimal & Tech-House, Tonband ist geübt darin druckvolle Sub Grooves mit eingehenden Melodien zu kombinieren und mit den Höhen und Tiefen seiner Sets für eine ganz eigene Clubatmosphäre zu sorgen.

Januar 2010 Gründet er das Label Whatever Berlin und spielte in dieser Zeit mit seiner Crew zahlreiche Supports für Publikumsmagneten wie Sascha Braemer, Monkey Safari, Stereo Express, Adam Port, Christian Burkhardt, Ambivalen, uvm. um nur ein paar zu nennen. Anfang 2012 begann Mich aka Tonband mit eigenen Produktionen.
