Both written in the Dorian mode, the initial harmonic darkness to the tracks develops into a brighter and somewhat uplifting conclusion, whilst maintaining a sense of exciting exploration.

Warp Speed paints a bewildering sense of emotion during the first half akin to discovering new horizons, strange and uneasy at first but then becoming comfortable with the uncertainty through the breakdown progression and second half.

The second release on hydera is from electronic pioneer Thomas Gandey.

‘We Survive’ follows on from the Beatport #1 ‘Cultum’ by Mia Mendi and Thomas Gandey which set the label off on a hit opening.

This solo release from the enigmatic producer evokes a futurists take on the new world’s dancefloors - a mysterious yet warming dystopian tale ‘We Survive’ was initially conceived as a live studio video and has developed into somewhat of an anthem, already having been performed and perfected live by Thomas around the globe.

To complement the Original Mix, Gandey also offers a Club Mix which carries the torch deeper for peak time listening. The release draws to a close with a twisted psychedelic break remix from Innervisions stalwart Alex Medina.

‘We Survive’ will be released digitally with vinyl pressing for members only, continuing hydera’s solid release schedule.'

Brazilian artist Kommodo drops his melodic vocal track 'Breath' with remixes from Nairo & Binaryh

The talented producer has been a well-known entity within the scene and have graced some of the world's finest electronic music labels with releases in the past on Timeless Moment, Warung Recordings & Steyoyoke.

'Breath' carries a deep driving rhythm through the track whilst introducing expansive synth chords before the atmospheric pads and vocals take over to create a beautiful uplifting break.

On remix duties we welcome Nairo back to Somatic as he strips back the layers of melodies and effects, and 'ups' the flow with a cleverly programmed groove along with his trademark FX elements, without destroying the essence of the original.

Making their debut we have the incredible Binaryh.
The duo have crafted a remix that starts off with a chugging, progressive-led groove thats builds and builds making tensions grow before a brief respite occurs midway as delicate keys add a note of relief with an epic pad, before being swept aside for more gritty bass pressure.

A Sailor with big passion for House music!

It all began during the nineties when Mikael was attending electronic underground parties in the city of Gothenburg. There the never-ending passion for electronic music was started.
During collage years Mikael Dj:ed and also tried to start up an Progressive House club in Kalmar called Safari - Underbar. The project failed but he learned a lot in the process.
Nowadays Mikael is Dj:ing spontainusly on own and friendly events and recently even started developing his own music. The future will tell where it all will end but it will start right here and now!

<But if you meet a ship in middle of the sea with thumping house sound it's propably the ship Mikael is working on....>
