it was only when i suddenly was
torn out of my dream at the end that
i realized that i flew away in the meantime.
up to the peaks of high mountains,
where birds of prey stood in the wind
with a lamenting cry
and streams gurgled playfully.
that's how i felt when i heard it.
and that's how it happens to me
again and again when i hear it:
at the beginning i listen very carefully,
almost strained and try to concentrate
in order to perceive details and then
suddenly i feel like i'm gone
and only come back to consciousness
at the last notes
with memories of a journey.
i like it.
