Caliban’s Dream

Title: Braindrops

This was an autobiographical composition.   This track along with 'Addicted', 'Getting Kinda Nowhere', 'My Only Fear', 'Down On You', 'Pretty Weird' 'Voices' & 'Cringe', were all composed in Thailand.   Each very much painting a picture of life at that time. 

BRAINDROPS

I wake up wondering where I've been - My sheets are soaked but I can't swim
I feel as if I've been misplaced - The years are dragging on my face - What a waste

I think I've lost my 'lost & found' - My feet won't even reach the ground
I stuff a pillow on my head - And I can't breathe its like I'm dead - But I can't quit

I think I've found my perfect circle (perfect circle) - How could you screw a square like me?
Its so frustrating (feels like I'm breaking) - Feels like I'm breaking

You put your faith in my appetite - Each bite I take tastes like suicide
Don't get me wrong 'cause I'm rarely right - but if your so strong why not take a bite

The world I knew is looking dim - My greatest hope looks pretty thin

Braindrops (Queen/Beatlesque influenced Lo-fi Acoustic Demo)

A tune that came to me as I woke up. I called it Dee after my wife.
