
The BenG story begins in Kansas City Mo, where he was born with the given name Benjamin E. Givens IV September 22, 1986. Raised by his grandparents the singer first showed a precocious talent around the age of 5 when he began singing and dancing to Michael Jackson. Musically BenG early tastes ran toward R&B Soul and pop icons such as the Jackson 5 especially Michael and more modern R&B vocal outfits such as Boys II Men the Temptations and Jodeci 
BenG’s singing ambitions took serious hold around the age of 13 singing at church in the choir and talent shows. Later on at the age of 17 when he met childhood friends Jeremy Vonell James, Byron Ewing and Joshua(jai’shawn)Daniels formed a vocal group. Later found out they were cousins while spending a summer together working on their craft. While on the streets were they grew up the four young men sharpened their harmony skills and entertained the neighborhood with impromptu performances. 
Eventually adopting the moniker Fidelity, a name derived from the bible, the four soon generated a buzz on local radio with their hit single Candy Apple Jeans. Word of fidelity’s talents quickly spreaded beyond Kansas City in 2007 and 2008, each member of fidelity brought unique talents to the group quickly establishing themselves as charismatic figures. 
sporting military jumps boots, baggy jeans, v-neck t-shirts, hoop earrings, curly hair and a cache of dance moves reminiscent of Michael Jackson , though clearly on the brink of massive stardom Fidelity surprised fans all over the mid-west and their hometown by undergoing a massive restructuring near the end of 2009.
Triggered by Benjamin IV desire to be a soloist and the hatred of the city, the members of the group decided to go their separate ways at least temporarily.  In the wake of the restructuring Benjamin IV wasted no time in 2010 launching his solo career defending the fidelity break up to the City.
Now as the man he has become and grown up to be he has improved himself as a singer-vocalist /songwriter dance choreographer and a musician as well he has a God giving talents like no other and has never had lessons for none of them.  Benjamin Givens IV wants to leave you and the world with a message. A winner never quits and quitter never wins
