It is with a feverish excitement that we can finally announce the next EP in our catalog from our newest addition to the Second State family: Amelie Lens. Besides being quite a multi-talented virtuoso, the Belgian artist comes in hot and heavy for her debut release ‘Let It Go’ and with it showcases her prowess for dark, cutting-edge techno. Over the span of four tracks Lens takes us on a tour-de-force journey into the cerebral spaces of large, dark rooms and flashing strobe lights. Kicking things off is the hypnotically inducing 'Wild' with looping vocals laid over an ever increasing pressure of percussion and white noise. Much like the EP opener, 'Linger On' casts the same spell yet picks up the pace with racing snares and meteoric synth washes creating a deeply euphoric ride. The title track ’Let It Go' is up next and is by far the most 'cheeky' tune of the EP with a twisted acid line swirling around the constant begging of Lens’ voice encouraging you to "Let It Go, Let It Out". Rounding out the EP is 'The Finest Hour' and Lens wraps up her debut with the most psychedelic cut of the package. Low rumbling bass tones and spaced out pads over sparse drums leave lots of room for the imagination providing each listener to create their own journey to navigate. If this is Amelie Lens' debut with us, we expect a lot of very big things to come from the young Belgian and so should you. Welcome Amelie Lens!

Production duo Mark Richards & James Eliot aka Solardo are the next to make their mark on Hot Creations with ‘Tribesmen’, delivering two heavy-duty cuts destined to stir serious heat in the club.

Already doing the rounds worldwide at the hands of some of the biggest names in the business, ‘Tribesmen’ and ‘Psycho Girlfriend’ are built straight for the dancefloor around dense and heavy basslines, punchy percussion and prominent vocal slices.

Hailing from Manchester, Solardo are continuing the city’s rich heritage in house music whilst carving out their own sound in the house and techno scene with releases on Madtech, MTA Records and more recently Of Unsound Mind. Their string of successful releases has gained them an army of fans across the board from Jamie Jones to Jackmaster. The pair also run a weekly radio show on Rinse FM and are residents of the well known Kaluki party as well as running their own successful event series, Solardo Sessions.

The unrelenting force that is Hot Creations often acts as a breeding ground for raw talent. This next release does just that with four ‘Hot Jams’ from upcoming artists Lee Walker, Pete Dorling, Neil Parkes and Greeko.

First up, young producer Lee Walker from Middlesbrough makes his debut on Hot Creations delivering ‘That Little Ditty’, which takes hold with a deeply intoxicating bassline, prominent hi-hats and punchy stabs that build to a frenzied climax. Shooting onto the scene in 2015 with his off-the-cuff edit of DJ Deeon’s ‘Freak Like Me’, which played by the likes of Marco Carola, Dixon and Loco Dice, soon gained over 1 million hits on Youtube and was finally picked up by Defected Records.

Having featured on ‘Hot Summer Jams’ on the label back in 2014, Essex DJ and producer Pete Dorling is back with another killer track. ‘Manyana’ drives with a heavy bassline as tribal vocal cuts are played throughout. Other releases can be seen on the likes of VIVa Music, Resonance Productions and NoFitState.

Also appearing on the same ‘Hot Summer Jams’, Neil Parkes is back on board the label with ‘Peil Narkes.’ A swinging bassline sets the groundwork as layers of moody synths roll out over punchy hats. Since his first release on Metroline Limited, Neil has spread his wings releasing on labels such as MadTech, Leftroom Limited and Underground Audio.

Miami was on fire, and this was my love letter to it.

Burgeoning DJ and producer Bontan makes his debut on the notorious Hot Creations label. Hotly anticipated, the release features two original cuts to fuel his rising profile.

UK based Bontan has been using title track The First Time as his secret weapon for the last six months and is now finally unleashing it. “I’ve been testing it and tweaking it play by play!’ he explains. ‘The vocal compliments the rolling bass melody and gives it a darker edge”. This a producer who fully understands how to create a track for a heaving dancefloor. Personal Question is the second cut and flips the mood entirely with a twisted vocal entwined in beeps and percussion, whilst stirring the sentiments of lost early hours.

A firm favourite in the underground scene, he has built a solid reputation with releases on Circus Recordings, 20/20 Vision, and Cajual among others.

Fresh from his Boiler Room debut in Madrid last month, the Swiss DJ and producer Andrea Oliva makes his debut on Hot Creations with We Trust. Having built a solid reputation through relentless touring and a string of impressive releases, Oliva delivers two original cuts showcasing his skillful production.

The driving and incredibly infectious title track We Trust uses all of the techniques required for a club classic; a looping vocal layered over charged drums, culminating in a fearless breakdown. On the reverse, Soho Nights delivers a hook so catchy it’s a certified Ibiza classic in the making.

Oliva’s journey began at a young age, educating himself in record shops and eventually teaming up with Nordstern founder, Agi Isaku, hosting the successful Banditz parties throughout Switzerland.

A firm favourite in the Ibiza scene, Oliva’s remix of Luciano’s Rise Of Angels on Cadenza catapulted him into the global spotlight and releases on Moonharbour, Desolat, Objektivity and Cuttin’ Headz soon followed.

From Colombia, comes episode number 39 of the series sent by Vandel. Deep soulful grooves with clear jazz, soul and funk influences can be listened to in the mix, representing the sound of the house music record label Discos Nutabe, based in Medellin, where Camilo is the curator and an active dj of the house music scene playing on a regular basis on clubs like Bar Calle 9+1.

With previous appearances on some various artists compilations, Vandel made his debut 12" called 'Inundación' in 2016, released on Discos Nutabe, which today celebrates 4 years of existence.
