Bob Lind's 45 came out about fifty years ago and was one of the records I would stack on the thick spindle of my record player before I went to sleep. Desi Desi and Desi played a punk version of the tune in 80's clubs like A7: very fast, very rough. Now I've brought it up to date with a new electronica version. I aimed for the beauty and polish of a 120 bpm ballad like "Liberation" (from my mentors The Pet Shop Boys) and failed completely. But I did make something else, a labor of love that came together with unusual ease. I hope you like it.
