This is a second instalment in the story of Veronique and Jeremiah from 'Jeremiah and the Moon'. This chapter precedes the last episode.
I intend to work on further episodes in the story, each preceding the last and going backwards in time. BoxTox has very kindly agreed to allow me to tell the story over his beautiful music.

Silver Lake

The silver lake sent light 
to splash upon their skin
who knows where we end up
when we first begin

Veronique and Dominique held warm hands in the dark
the liquid coolness moved around their bodies 
Two fragile creatures, building their own "ark"
Two creatures blessed by unawareness

The circling arms of lovers, enveloping charms
Draw expanding lines upon the silver
Silence, oh so deep and still with languid lapping sounds
Evanescent ripples in the mirror


Dominique rose up and slipped into the depths
All evidence of movement slowly faded
Veronique swam quietly awaiting her return......

Such simple ways in which our lives are shaded....

One thing I do know is that man must always control nature

With a broom, maybe with an extended handle

You know, a wasp nest is nothing but a pest

Option #3: My friend Chuckie, he said he'd come over

You smoke a big bong load of weed
Blow it right into the wasp nest

Drinking Chronicles #24:Wasps

Okay, I really don't know how to classify this one.  I just wanted to write lyrics to music I had done, and this is what came out.

Two women,
Two views,
They live on my street,
And to me amuse. 

The first regurgitates her opinions for all of us who lose
A shallow wisdom poured out like deep,
To awaken the souls of those who sleep. 
An understanding drawn as from a pail,
But in reality just her thimble that covers her nail. 

Two women
Two views
How nice,
To keep me amused. 

The second is the one who drinks from lighter things. 
Then pours out her opinions, when asked, with haughty sings,
Her ideas are spilled at inappropriate times,
And she disdains suggestions to help keep her in line. 
Her wisdom consists of sugar with tea,
And if challenged, how great a piece of her cake would be. 

On my street these women,
Never grow old,
their mannerisms are such, 
they’ll always be told. 
And no matter what they say,
Or what they claim on the block. 
Does it matter to them,
That food and clothes,
Should be our lot,
For these two women,
I think not.

I’m a song-writer who enjoys creating music of any genre.

My son recently introduced me to A.I. and taught me how to do covers of my previously released non-A.I. music. Since I've never considered myself a performer (except playing with worship bands at church or solo-piano at a rehab center) using A.I. is right up my alley.

Since I've  exhausted using my previously released music for A.I. covers, I now compose music in a DAW, rip to a wave file, and make an A.I. cover of this wave file. I then write lyrics to the A.I. music. It takes around 100 A.I. iterations to complete the lyrics and get a style I'm happy with.  

Brief Bio: Lived more than a quarter of my life overseas (Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Turkiye, Italy, Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan). Each country gave me an appreciation for different types of music plus probably why I get bored easily in sticking with one genre or another.
