Michael McCaffery has been a DJ in the Victoria house music scene for over 25 years. He has established himself as a prominent figure through his performances at numerous local clubs, parties, lounges, and events. 

One significant affiliation of Michael's is with the Renegade crew, a collective of DJs and music enthusiasts. Being a part of this crew has afforded him opportunities to showcase his talent at the Soundwave Music Festival, a popular event on Vancouver Island that celebrates a diverse range of electronic music genres. The festival serves as a platform for local and international artists to share their music and engage with the community.

Michael  has also immersed himself in the Burn community over the past 15 years. The Burn culture revolves around participatory art, self-expression, and community gatherings. Within this community, Michael has performed at various local and regional events, including Otherworld and Critical Massive. These events offer immersive and transformative experiences, combining music, art installations, workshops, and interactive performances to create unique atmospheres.

As a member of the Jelly Fish lounge and Left Coast Crew, Michael collaborates with fellow DJs and organizers to contribute to the local dance scene. They organize outdoor beach parties and special events, aiming to create memorable experiences for attendees. Michael's ability to curate diverse and captivating music sets further enhances these events and solidifies his role as a key player in the  community.

In addition to his involvement with the Renegade crew and the Burn community, Michael  has also worked with Party People Solutions, contributing to their lounge and patio nights. This collaboration showcases his versatility as a DJ and highlights his dedication to providing enjoyable music experiences across different settings.

With his experience, deep musical knowledge, and unwavering passion for the music, Michael  continues to shape and enhance the Victoria house music scene. Through his performances and collaborations, he leaves a lasting impact on the local dance community, providing memorable moments for music lovers and enthusiasts alike.
