Originally released a few years ago, Weight of the Truth was supposed to be an album about mental health, which for the most part, it was. When reexamining the album over the last couple of years, I found that it had missed the mark, and wasn't as accurate of a depiction of the events that were supposed to be discussed in the album. To be honest, much like the initial album itself, recovery was being rushed.

After a few hard life lessons and some difficult retrospection, I decided to try again, this time chronicling the events song by song, from the initial subtle realization that something might not be right, to denial, diagnosis, challenges, and thankfulness, and willingness to turn the page and move on.

The album, although deeply personal, is something I feel people can relate to. It's hard to talk about, but something we should not be afraid or ashamed to discuss.

So in short, rather than being an indication of the healing process being complete, this album has become part of a much larger healing process, which continues to this day.
