Written during the first lockdown. It was obvious that no generation had ever experienced what we were all going through - so I need to write about it.
'It's not like we’d ever choose…….’
Wasn't sure where the song was going, so decided to build up the ending to EPIC proportions with 'Moog Taurus' bass pedals, Mellotron choirs, strings, brass and the kitchen sink!
Helped immensely by the very talented Mr Rob Rowles (aka ’Badger’) on piano, strings and brass sections, and the equally talented Alex Pearson who played the double bass.

I wrote this sitting on a favourite Greek beach  of ours called Mandraki Elias on the island of Skiathos. (We were staying at a place called Koukounaries and walked through the pine woods to get there.)
