Instrumental Project whit a lot of influences .

I'm here to share and appreciate all genres of music.  Most of what I am currently recording is electronic, and largely ambient, in nature; however, I have recently started recording cover songs of various tunes.  So, since I'm no longer strictly ambient (only mostly), I've changed my SoundCloud name to Smooth Waters Sonic Journeys.  Headphones greatly enhance the listening experience. I'm a British-American Electronic musician by the name of Nathan who currently lives in the Pacific NW. ... Sometimes I take extended Social Media breaks for my sanity. Lol! 😅 ... So if I ever miss responding to a comment or returning a follow, it's only because it's hard catching up when I've been gone a month.

I play vintage synths which I've had for decades(because new ones are expensive. Lol!), but in the last couple of years I've been working much more with DAWs (which is awesome because my fingers don't work as well as they used to), with the occasional flourish from my aging synths.

I'm influenced by all varieties of electronic and electronic-adjacent music from 1960s/70s - 2020s, not to mention a bit of Prog and Metal, and Jazz Fusion. 

My focus tends to be on Trance, Ambient, Synthwave, EDM, Synthpop, EBM, Industrial, Darkwave, Futurepop, and the occasional hint of Jazz Fusion. (Sometimes all in the same track).

That's what happens when you're hooked by the Doctor Who Theme at a young age. ;-)  

I'm not always entirely sure which subgenres many my tracks are closest to, So I try to pick the broadest and most dominant one for the main tag. The first row of tags are the other ones I reckon they're closest to, and the rest are an assortment of other related tags, some closer than others.

J’ai participé à un concours international francophone dans les années 80.
Par la suite, j’ai créé le groupe Top-Sonart qui a été en nomination deux fois à l’Adisq,et qui a pris fin en 1987.
J’ai ensuite écrit plusieurs chansons et musiques qui n’ont jamais joué nulle part. C’est pourquoi je les partage maintenant avec la planète par Soundcloud.

Musician since the age of 13, I have never stopped being passionate about music.

Subsequently, I created the band Top-Sonart who was nominated two times at l’Adisq and which ended in 1987.
I then wrote several songs and music pieces that never played anywhere. That's why I now share them with the planet through Soundcloud.
