SLAM are a tour de force on the global Techno circuit. The duo’s unique, 6 deck, back-to-back DJ performances and explosive live sets have seen them amaze clubs & festivals across the world. Pioneers and innovators of the electronic music scene, Slam’s Orde Meikle and Stuart McMillan are renowned for their experience and powerful, contemporary sound.

Their iconic Soma Records label boasts more than 800 releases in its 33-year history, including Daft Punk’s first singles and Slam’s own productions as well as many of today’s most cutting edge artists. Co-owners of Glasgow’s Riverside Festival, the pair also host the legendary Pressure parties and have a longstanding RTM residency at the city’s Sub Club, dealing out a monthly supply of raw, hypnotic techno.

They also produce the respected weekly Techno podcast, Slam Radio, which has now surpassed over 600 episodes, demonstrating their continued conviction in providing an antidote to the mainstream.

Countless club u. Festival gigs paved his way before he devoted himself to his new techno project "MIKE OPANI" 4 years ago and reinvented himself completely.

In den 90er Jahren startetet er als DJ auf diversen Techno Partys um sich dann1997 dem Drum&Bass zu widmen.
Unter dem Pseudonym „CATIVO“ trug er massgeblich zur Entwicklung der Deutschen „Drum&Bass Szene“ bei und gilt heute als einer der Urväter der selbigen.
Bekannt ist er vor allem durch seine arbeiten unter dem Pseudonym „CATIVO“ unter dem er Produktionen für nationale und internationale Labels wie  „Force Inc./Position Chrome“, „Urban Takeover U.K.“, „Freak Rec.“, „Hidden Trax“ und seinem eigenen Label „Assimilate Recordings“ veröffentlicht hat.

Die liebe zum Techno bestand all die Jahre weiterhin. 
2015 entschloss er sich auch wieder im Techno aktiv zu werden.
2016 folgten die ersten Techno Release auf MT- Music/Austria.
2017 Wurde „MARIKA ROSSA“ auf seiner Production aufmerksam und signet umgehend seine Trax für eine E.P. auf ihrem Label „FreshCut“.
2018 startet seine eigene Partyreihe „CONCLUSION“ in Stuttgart.
