Jason Isbell is a singer-songwriter from Green Hill, Alabama. A former member of the Drive-By Truckers, and now a successful solo act, Jason Isbell is widely renowned as one of the greatest songwriters of the current day. Jason took some time out to chat with Lance while on his solo tour stop in New Braunfels, Texas. While there, Jason catches us up on many things including: growing up playing music, getting sober, Merle Haggard, and much more.

Game Show Democracy

Toots Hibbert sings guest vocals with the Dave Matthews Band on "Warehouse," August 14th, 2007 at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center in Saratoga Springs, NY. 

(Not my recording -- if you want to torrent the whole show in the taper's original FLAC format, please let me know and I'll seed it via dreamingtree.org. This show has not had any seeders in years. Also -- there are two tapes of this show that I know of, and I have both. This one sounds like it's clipping or going through a bitcrusher at times, but it has more clarity/separation between individual instruments and the vocals are clearer. The other tape is in some ways "smoother" sounding but is considerably muddier, if that makes sense.)
