We played two records each all night, Andrew first then me, until the last half an hour of part two where it's one each. I travelled by train with a kidney infection and without a passport for 13 hours each-way to make this one and I'm glad I did. It was a fantastic night, so thanks to Andrew, Diego, Lele and everyone who was there dancing like a mad thing.

Raised in the heart of the Balearic homeland, Dj Aficionado cruises in at the right moment with an appropriately sun kissed selection. Currently based in Berlin, he has found a cosy corner on Refuge Worldwide where he regularly rides the waves with his show Francachela. Pathing his way through the nightlife, he pushes big-room Balearic sounds around town with Orbita, a freshly minted party he runs alongside Llupe. Recorded in a free flowing manner this offering includes Downtempo, Street Soul, Italo and more to wash down an afternoon Cava and bring in that sunset you’ve been waiting for.

Finn Johannsen is a Berlin-based DJ, writer, and impresario at Berlin club Paloma, renowned for his encyclopedic knowledge of music and deep, eclectic selections that span disco, house, techno, reggae, and beyond. Active since the late 1980s, Johannsen has built a reputation for narrative-driven DJ sets that seamlessly connect musical histories, often highlighting overlooked gems and rare cuts. He has performed in various venues worldwide and he has found a cozy corner at Refuge Worldwide, hosting his show, "Francachela". His musical style is eclectic, spanning House, Balearic, Boogie, and Disco, or as someone wise once best described it, "Adult Dance Music". Reminiscent of a slow dance, a little touch of risqué perhaps, but most of all - fun.
