CAN'T HELP FALLING IN LOVE By Mike Surratt

Mike Surratt is a full-time musician with almost five decades of professional musical experience and history. His preferred instrument is the keyboard, and his true passion is the accordion. He is also an accomplished vocalist and drummer. 

Throughout his long career, Surratt has performed extensively throughout the Washington, DC. / Baltimore, MD / Richmond, VA region. Over the years, he has also enjoyed performing on numerous tours throughout many parts of the USA, from New York to Florida and Wisconsin and South Dakota. 

Surratt’s versatility encompasses a diverse realm of venues – from exotic Caribbean Cruises in far-flung locations, to local lounges, restaurants, dances and private engagements. Surratt moves effortlessly from his work as a solo performer, to sharing the stage with a complete band ensemble, as the situation warrants. His vast musical repertoire encompasses a wide variety of musical genres, including forty years of Pop favorites from the 50's, 60's, 70's and 80's; Ballroom, Latin and Swing standards; Classic Country; European favorites; and even Torch Songs from the 1930's to round out the mix. 

Surratt is the founder of the nationally known Continentals of Washington, D.C., as well as the recently formed Eclectic Coalition Band. He maintains a thriving performance schedule as a soloist, as well as with both of his bands. Surratt is a voting member of N.A.R.A.S. and has begun recording and producing his own original music compositions and releases as a solo studio artist producer.
