Strange Condition is a New project featuring Mike Wise and Derek Webb. 

This first song was written to Honor my parents Gary and Deanna Wise who were both battling cancer at the time. One day in October if 2018 I had taken my Dad to lunch and to chemo and then we watched the Rockies make it to the playoffs. It was such a perfect day and I remember the next day wishing that I could just hold on to the feelings that I had. I figured the best way to do that was to write a song. Sadly my father passed away exactly a week later and I pretty much threw the song away. Then a year later I saw Derek, who is one of my favorite artists, was allowing himself to be hired for various music projects. I thought to myself, maybe I could get him to flesh out that song I wrote for my folks. Sure enough he was on board and over the course of a few weeks we bounced ideas off each other and this is what we came up with. 

I released it as a birthday present to my mom who is still fighting cancer. In 2020 I am hoping to hire Derek for an entire album if I can get the funds together. Be on the lookout for a crowdfunding campaign very soon!
