@wheelwright wrote the song after David Bowie died. He had a beautifully strong song and vocal, on a smaller arrangement of piano, some strings and brass pads.

Wheelwright then ran it past me and I immediately begged to be his Mick Ronson and Tony Visconti! We think we’ve ended up with a truly collaborative result that is much bigger in scope than the original; via a lot of close and truly enjoyable discussion and idea bouncing. It's always wonderful to work with truly gifted folk like Michael.

After a few years of finding my style and voice, I retired the name after only 4 albums released and rebranded to simply Mike Xerxes Gomez.Since rebranding I've released the albums Tribute, Man of the Gods and Malice. I'm currently working on Slander and Legacy.
