The song Petropedika is a song of traditional Cretan Μusic that has been adored and still many great artists continue to sing all over Crete island. In this particular stunning acoustical version by Ms Dagaki i wanted also myself to feel this wonderful tradition and Cretan culture mixing it with my kind of music. With total respect and love for the island and its morality, i hereby present my own view for a track i loved at first hearing. The original version of the song and the music is written by Psarantonis and the lyrics from Ilias Vasilaras. The intro is from traditional Persian Music.

Η πετροπέρδικα είναι ένα κομμάτι παράδοσης της Κρητικής μουσικής που έχει αγαπηθεί και ακόμη τραγουδιέται από αξιόλογους καλλιτέχνες σε όλη την Κρήτη. Στην συγκεκριμένη εκπληκτική ακουστική εκτέλεση της Γεωργίας Νταγάκη ήθελα να αφουγκραστώ, να νιώσω αυτήν την υπέροχη παράδοση και κουλτούρα της Κρήτης συνδυάζοντας την με τα δικά μου ακούσματα. Με απόλυτο σεβασμό και αγάπη για το νησί και το ήθος του, σας παρουσιάζω την δική μου ματιά για ένα κομμάτι που αγάπησα από την πρώτη στιγμή που ήχησε στα αυτιά μου. Η πρωτότυπη εκτέλεση και μουσική είναι γραμμένη από τον Ψαραντώνη ενώ τους στίχους υπογράφει ο Ηλίας Βασιλαράς.
