CAREER

DAVIES JUNIOR entered this world on May 24, 1990 in Liberia and shortly after that his family moved to Switzerland. As a teenager, he developed a love for Hip Hop and R&B music. At the age of 17, Jay-Dee purchased his first set of turntables, Staton T60’s, and began to learn to use them as a real DJ. He was inspired by DJ AM, DJ Jazzy Jeff, DJ Premier, and Switzerland’s legendary turntablist, DJ Jay-K.

In the beginning of 2011, he performed with DJ Jay-K and DJ Marcy at Tito’s Place in Lugano, one of the hottest clubs in the area. This event opened doors for Jay-Dee and inspired him to push his DJ career even harder. 2012 was a year that Jay-Dee had the opportunity to rock at more events including opening up for Elephant Man along with other artists and club openings.

In 2013, Junior became a member of the global entertainment group, International Party Rockers. He was featured on the mix CD, the Weekend, featuring some of the hottests DJs in Switzerland, DJ Acee and DJ BLG in addition to Germany’s hottest video mixer, VDJ Scorpion. Also, Jay spun in Zurich at International Party Rockers’ Party Hard event at Indochine featuring DJ Swissivory, DJ Stoppa, the Vanity Dancers and special guest DJ from Hollywood, DJ Mahli and from USA, Dj Babey Drew ( Chris Brown official dj).

Now Junior is also a elettronic dance producer. In 2014 he released many remixes for ree for artist like Afrojack, MACKLEMORE, J balvin an many more. He released singles on italian labels, like Claw Records, Total Freedom, Keep Records and many more. Also Junior released a single called Macumba, supported By on of the biggest dj and producers who has released many tracks on SPINNIN RECORDS, Tony junior. Now junior is continuing his work as a producer trying to realize his dream one day.

In 2018, Lorenzo Bacci, aka LanniCenta, a 12 years old kid from Rome, got in touch with Hardstyle for the first time.
