We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again, if there’s one thing we love more than anything here at Klub Kids it’s freshness, be it fresh artists, fresh sounds, or a combination of the two. One of the freshest sounds out right now is breaks. Yeah you heard that right! It’s back with a vengeance! Taking the old and jacking it with with the new - be it bass, trap, or house - breaks may well be the freshest sound of 2016! Needless to say we are super inspired, not only because of the breaks comeback, but so too by the amount of fresh artists sending us broken beat demos right now. One of the freshest of late has come from Brisbane based DJ and producer Chris Royal. Man we’re excited to bring him in to the Klub Kids frey (and boy does he come in charging)! First up on his debut EP comes ‘Nuke’, a heavy duty, siren screaming, lead line tweakin’, low slung, bass groovin’, breaks bomb! Yeah that’s right, f@# that! Next up is ‘Ring That F#ckin Bell’, an equally heavy broken beat bass belter with a bit of an added bass twist. Heavy! Right peeps, your bombs await!
