Back To My Bed

Much of my process recently has been pure obsession. While I don't claim to make perfect music, that mindset of perfectionism naturally comes with shadows of disappointment -- the disappointment in one's own abilities when the inevitability of underperforming occurs. When I look back on the reasons I started creating art and music and look at my methods now, I realize that I want to shift back towards that playful spirit. This EP is a tribute to a younger version of the creative in me -- the version that didn't care as much about perfection as long as I could experiment with sounds.

Just in time with this one, really fun to be back making beats after a hectic period at work before Xmas break. Ended up going with a summer holiday vibe instead of sleigh bells, maybe subconsciously after not seeing the sun in Sweden for weeks now. The track is a bit of a homage to Tensnake - Coma Cat which was a huge tune when I was in Ibiza 2010, made me long back to those moments. Enjoy!

This weeks Spin City Show that aired on myhouseradio.fm 17th Jan 2021 seen me on hosting duties with an incredible guest for the second hour by GMGN. I  welcomed the super-talented DJ/producer GMGN to the show for the first time. GMGN (Good Morning Good Night) is the production/DJ moniker of Ben Adams. Originally hailing from the UK, Ben now calls Boston his home. A champion of house and disco, he is a co-founder and resident at Grassfed Disco, a bi-monthly disco party running for the past 3 years in Boston (nominated party of the year at the Boston Music Awards 2019). As a producer, he has released across some of dance music’s best underground Labels - highlights being Midnight Riot, Soul Clap Records, Toucan Sounds, KID Recordings, Black Riot Records, Robsoul Records, Punch Out Recordings, Mozzarella Records, Startdust and Sundries.
