Latest selection in the "Freemix" series: a fully acapella rendition of “Got ‘Til It’s Gone” by Janet Jackson feat. Q-Tip

The month of May is Janet’s BDay month, so I pulled out a handful of tunes from one of my fave albums ever for my Patreon fam to select. This one is one of my faves & SOOO akin to my personal style of music, that I just knew it would be a breeze to do…

While creating it was fun, I almost didn’t make it, yall 😩😂  It took me damn near an entire WEEK to complete btwn recording & arranging audio, a full day of filming & 48 hrs of editing in both Final Cut & the VSCO app (a small tip I picked up from watching @workthatcass vids on TikTok 😉) But the finished product is definitely worth it - I’m also thee HUGEST Q-Tip fan so any opportunity to portray his greatness along with Janet’s is welcomed. Plus, I’m uber proud to see how much I’ve grown with making these over the last few yrs!
