The Kimono Project arises based on a structured setting through an essence that is much more than an idea. It is a symbol of celebration, joy, based on a spirit with African influences markedly registered in each performance. And that makes the difference. Since very early, the rhythm made a great impact on the whole evolution of DJ Kimono, while being creative, an artist and a young producer. The interest and the discovery of this passion for music and which features alternative sounds, with some being historically popular, began to emerge from the age of seven, when his parents introduced him the idea of ​​attending a music school. By accepting the suggestion from his parents as a challenge, he began his mission to learn to play drums. Later, the young Edgar Jesus Kimono developed this taste and interest of his own accord and at the age of 12 began his adventure in percussion. It was at this stage that he took the initiative to take the first steps in the nightlife world, at a club in the Central Region of Portugal, much to the cost of labor and incentives provided by the parents. Kimono remembers always being dazzled when inside a DJ booth, always attentive, all night watching the mixing decks and delightfully enjoying the way that machine fascinated him. By watching the work of a DJ closely, very early he began to find out what each button of a mixer does. Naturally, his first experience finally occurred. On completing 16 years of age, at a friend’s house, he decided to venture into mixing some music with the DJ equipment he carried packed inside a suitcase. It was with this little and playful adventure, which triggered even more the interest in working as a DJ that quickly, grew so increasingly intense. Since then, it never stopped growing. Because it is something that grew naturally in the deepest interior of his restless and nonconformist spirit, Kimono does not hide the enormous passion and fondness for his immense artistic work that has been developing over time. Always with his feet firmly on the ground, the young Portuguese DJ with African blood running through his veins, through hard work and sacrifice, aims to make the Kimono brand as something unique and truly authentic. 

Nascido em 1993 Eduardo Alves aka Dj Ed Master começou com uma brincadeira (Virtual Dj) impulsionada por um insaciável gosto pela musica. 
Primeira actuçao foi na Festa Anual da Sendieira onde todos os anos ate a data tem participado , consequente seguiu se Festa Anual Aldeia Grande e Festa de Casais de Fonte Pipa.

Com muito treino tem vindo a evoluir à espera que novos desafios apareçam.
