The Wax Wreckaz are a DJ-/production-outfit hailing from Austria, Innsbruck to be exact. A small city surrounded by mountains, green meadows filled with cows in summer and loads of snow and thousands of ski-tourists in winter. The crew consists of Busy Fingaz, Juwee, Fu and Sensay.

Four music lovers that although growing up with different social backgrounds - ranging from punk rock-loving-skateboard-kid to being a conductor's offspring with classical music education - finally met in the year 1999 in a graphic design school and the rest is history.

Every time the whole crew works on music together, you can definitely feel that all the influences become one - classic New York mid 90s rap and turntablism to UK bass music, reggae and beyond! After their latest release longside the rising reggae star Etzia from Sweden - which gained support by acts like So Shifty, Jugglerz, Bert on Beats, Urban Knights, Rebel Sonix, Mash Up International or the Smalltown DJs and airplay on radio stations from Trinidad Tobago to Russia - they are back with their first release on Jeffree's.

This time they hooked up with European dancehall-ruler Million Stylez and laced another bass heavy Reggae-Electronica hybrid. Million Stylez laid down an anthem for all the weed lovers worldwide, switching from toasting to singing and back, with his trademark style and voice all over the place. Playing with different genres is natural to the Wax Wreckaz - whether it's in their DJ-Sets or productions. And so it's obvious that the result has a unique sound to it, including influences from different genres like house, bass, hip-hop and of course dancehall and reggae.

NEW on the full EP is a Radio Edit of "High Grade feat. Million Stylez," two remixes by members of the Wax Wreckaz family and a delicious riddim!

His musical style is strictly in a 8 bit digital style, reminding the old nintendo, C64, Atari sound etc... Also his dub might well be futuristic, both in the choice of the sounds and in the way to put them together, WellWell works the old way: first, he builds the riddim, then he makes a dub version by torturing it with all the effects that comes to hand. The least we can say is that it rocks. Wellwell sound has for a long time now been doing some of the sharpest production in laptop 8 bit reggae and this is no less of a great effort from the french great producer.

Yugo is a reggae selector / MC and Singjay from Yokohama, Japan. He represents 2 categories of sound : Delta Force sound since 2004, Roots temple JP since 2014 out of Yokohama, also home to the world famous Mighty Crown and a massive reggae music culture. Yugo has been playing with Delta Force around Yokohama since 2004. Yugo later moved to London & spent some years exploring the UK reggae scene & building solid connections in the industry whilst working at historical Reggae record shops like Supertone in Brixton. At the time Yugo met up with chazbo chong(Owner of roots temple, Bush chemist foundation). On his return to Japan, Yugo organised a Japan tour with Bush Chemists (Chazbo Chong & King General) & also with Kenny knots and Carl Meeks in 2012/13. Yugo also released a mix CD in Japan with Kris Kemist, having linked with Reality Shock family back in Reading UK. Yugo is currently expressing himself musically working on some digital dancehall influenced productions also spiritual music as roots temple productions & is available for bookings Roots temple, Delta Force Sound across Europe & worldwide.

Cubiculo Records teams up again with the french producer B-No. After his first release on vinyl featuring the veteran Trevor Junior with “People Are Changing”now comes the time for his second release on our imprint.

B-No comes again with one of his classic riddim styles, a mixture between the early digital and rub-a-dub.

On Side A comes the french singer Peter Youthman with “Sad Feeling”, a really conscious and powerful tune with focus on sadness and problems regarding homeless people.  Side B features the upcoming american singer Tuli Ranks with his strong rub-a-dub and deejay influences he opposites to “Sad Feeling” and unleashes some love lyrics on “Over Me”.

The artwork tries and conotate the “Sad Feeling” with Night and side B “Over Me” with Day and sun and shows the contrast between both lyrics.

Side A features two tracks, vocal and riddim, where on Side B features an extended version with dub.

It's a great pleasure to present the first production of Bass Lee Music together with the singer George Palmer and mixed and mastered by Rubén G. Mateos. Sleng teng riddim inna different style!
Bass Lee is a musician that has collaborated in different projects as a melodica player (with labels like CrudoBilbao and live in Sound System sessions), as a bass player and sometimes as a selector, and that now presents his first publication as a producer making a version of the classic sleng teng riddim in a renewed style. George Palmer, known already in the Sound System scene of Spain and more and more in the international one, is a singer that has worked with famous producers like Manudigital and Creation Culture Hi Fi. Rubén G. Mateos has been working as a mixer and music producer for years, having worked in innumerable musical projects of all kind. The song that we present here was originally recorded during the year 2014.

Bass Lee es un músico que ha colaborado en diferentes proyectos como músico de melódica (con sellos como CrudoBilbao y en directo en sesiones de Sound System), como bajista y ocasionalmente como selector, y que ahora presenta su primera publicación como productor haciendo una versión del clásico sleng teng riddim en un estilo renovado. George Palmer, conocido ya en la escena estatal del Sound System y cada vez más en la escena internacional, es un cantante que ha colaborado con productores de la talla de Manudigital o Creation Culture Hi Fi. Rubén G. Mateos se dedica profesionalmente a la mezcla y la producción musical desde hace años, habiendo trabajado en innumerables proyectos musicales de todo tipo. La canción que aquí presentamos fue originalmente grabada durante el año 2014.
