In its prime, Central Station Records was synonymous with cutting-edge dance music in Australia and was key in shaping the country’s electronic music scene. As a DJ in the 90’s there was nothing better than descending the stairs, chatting with local legends like Stevie-B about the latest NRG tracks before getting on with your day with some freshly pressed on vinyl.

This mix, fresh from a session tonight is a nod to the Dinky label, which was influential in shaping the electronic and dance music scene in Australia and beyond. It’s a tribute to all our fantastic local artists who have recorded on the label, from Alex K, KCB, Thomas Knight, Nick Skitz, Stevie B, Dave Austin and all artists who I have not mentioned who made clubbing awesome in the 90s. Australian based DJ, producer and remixer. Supported by the likes of Paul Oakenfold, Markus Schulz & Solarstone. His productions have appeared on the Australian (ARIA) charts, played on commercial radio and by countless DJs globally in live sets, streams and podcasts.

Hailing from what is known as the golden years of the Melbourne trance and club scene (late 90's - early 2000's). Known for playing peak-time sets, and the ability to also play ever important opening sets. Mike's ability to play anything from house, progressive, techno, trance and everything in between, sets him apart. Refusing to be pigeon-holed, he often fuses different genres, focusing on energy, vibe and creating moments, rather than genres. Continuing to dig deep, breaking future dance floor anthems and surprising punters with forgotten gems of the past.

Mike began his producing career, remixing for Australia's biggest record label, Central Station Records in 2004, and went on to remix and release for numerous Australian and international artists and labels spanning multiple genres. He's been on remix duties for iconic Australian groups and artists such as The Choirboys, James Reyne (Australian Crawl), Slinkee Minx, legendary house diva Inaya Day (Mousse T - "Horny", "Keep Pushing") and  powerhouse vocalist Joy Malcolm (Moby, Basement Jaxx).

In 2014 he also earned his stripes completing an internship and assisting at Australia's most prolific recording studio - Studios 301, Sydney.
In late 2021 he launched Flow State Recordings - a record label for him to release his music without boundaries or constraints.
