About Tresor Berlin
At midnight, on March 13th 1991, a basement door opened at Leipziger Strasse 126, Berlin. Through this door, many passed, on their way to defining new terrains in electronic music. There they found a dance floor in the vaults of a closed-down department store, with a unique sound bound to dense fog, building night after night a history that was also a vision of the future.

This history has seen in Jeff Mills’ first sets on three turntables, Underground Resistance's first live appearances in Europe, grandiose Tresor Park parties, to various chapters of the Loveparade with Sven Väth in the 90s and since then countless generation-spanning parties. These moments represent the highlights of infinite personal clubbing experiences. It is the manifestation of the Berlin spirit, emerging from its considerable strife. This history is not without its complications - from temporary closure by the authorities and several raids in the early years to closure and demolition of the old location in 2005. What followed was years of wandering in exile and, finally, resurrection in the new home in Kraftwerk Berlin.

These stories, conversations and shared experiences within our walls forge a resilience that drives towards a shared ideal, the Tresor sound: community, resistance, and the world to come. This was observed in the newly re-unified German youth, who danced and celebrated together from the club’s inception, and into the present day through ongoing community work in Detroit.

To those that have danced before, and to those that will dance in the future: the light at the end of the long Tresor tunnel is a signal. A flicker amidst the fog. This is our future. This is our place.

Expansive dub vibrations from the On-U Sound maestro.

Adrian Sherwood has spent nearly five decades reshaping how dub is heard and felt. From absorbing reggae and funk as a teenager at the Newlands Club in High Wycombe to cofounding On-U Sound in 1979, he’s been a restless force in British sound system culture. His debut production, Dub From Creation, signalled his instinct to twist the Jamaican form into bold, experimental directions.

That spirit defined On-U Sound, where reggae collided with post-punk, industrial and synth pop to forge a catalogue still unlike anything else. Sherwood became a crucial bridge, producing for legends like Prince Far I, Bim Sherman and Lee “Scratch” Perry, while also working with Depeche Mode, Nine Inch Nails and Sinéad O’Connor.

His  RA Mix (yes, you read that right) arrives at a moment of renewal—RA.1001 is the first in a new era for the series. (After 1,000 editions of the RA Podcast, we're updating the name to better reflect what it's become.) 

Recorded at his Ramsgate studio, the 76-minute mix folds in cuts from <i>The Collapse Of Everything<i> alongside material from across the On-U Sound universe, plus collaborations with Panda Bear, Sonic Boom, Coldcut and Spoon. It's Sherwood doing what he's always done: stretching dub into endless new shapes.

This year I asked to play a sunrise set and the good keepers of Diane's kindly obliged my desire. This set started at 3am and ended at 6am. I wanted to explore a joyful playful dark energy until the sun began to rise. Includes minimal favorites that I rediscovered in my collection after schlepping all the records to the new place, and some wild vortex inducing stuff that I had always wanted to play at Dianes at the darkest hour before the light started to filter through the trees. Strangely I was listening to this set when I had a near death experience last month. I feel lucky to be alive, and also relieved and grateful that K-rAD always does such an incredible job recording these sets at Dianes that will far outlive my existence in this current human form in which I feel lucky to still occupy. Sending lots of love to all my friends and family that sent me so much positive energy- it absolutely helped in my healing this month. This set is for all of you. <3

Born under the Southern Italian sun and now based in Berlin, Luigi has been shaping ecstatic dancefloor moments, from the magic of Cocktail d’Amore to the sacred energy of Berghain/Panorama Bar and the freedom of Lab.oratory.

His sound blends explosive and cosmic landscapes, reflected in projects like Banana Moon (with Massimiliano Pagliara), SolidAir (with Jules Etienne), and Affekt Unit (with Neu Verboten). Beyond that, Luigi curates euphoric nights such as Maximum Joy and Power Dance Club, manages the London Phonica Records store at The Store X, and runs Philoxenia Records, the beautiful label created together with Neu Verboten.

But what truly makes him stand out is not only the path he’s built: behind the decks, there’s a luminous person whose energy radiates warmth and beauty, turning every set into a shared experience.

This techno set is his invitation to surrender to the rhythm, to let the vibrations take over, and to discover how powerful it feels to lose yourself in music.
