A special two-hour summer mix recorded by SeifO, a rising talent from Egypt.

Having started mixing his sets with influence from trance and progressive, SeifO created two beach-themed sets in 2011 under the playlist “Sea” which includes “Mediterranean Atmosphere” and “Ras Sheitan” featuring well known trance names such as Ferry Corsten, Moonbeam, ATB, Dash Berlin, Solid Stone, Rex Mundi and more. Both sets gained strong local support.

As music evolves with time, in 2017 SeifO explored melodic techno and deep house and created the playlist “Space” which includes the sets “Interstella” and “Tour De Force” featuring the likes of Tale of Us, Stephan Bodzin, Recondite, Maceo Plex, Patrice Baumel, Agents of Time, Pan-pot and Einmusik to name a few. His ”Space” themed sets got recognized and supported by well-known DJs such as Pan-pot, Omnia, Bobina, Jean Claude Ades, Michael Klein and Mikael Weermets.    

Then, in 2018, SeifO created the playlist “Sand” to experiment with new sounds and the result was “Shantaram”, a mystical musical journey which gained support from the likes of Milo Hafliger, De Kunstenaar and Kevin Di Serna. The set featured originals and remixes by Birds of Mind, Stavroz, Just Emma, Hraach, Rasi Z and more.

In 2019, SeifO created the playlist “Podcasts” that includes his guest mixes which started with Egypt’s prominent music channel Seashellbeats. SeifO then followed his first guest mix with a second one for Montreal’s Soul of Zoo on their Multi Cultural Beats series. 

Now, for SeifO’s third guest mix of the year, we are happy to feature his longest set yet, a two hour journey into the summer of 2019!

Giangi first topped the Italian and European charts in 1997 with the alias Alma Matris. The track "Musica Electrica/Rumore Chimico" was re-released by New Yorker Star 69 and confirmed Giangi’s status as one of the world’s deep techy tribal heavyweights. 
The follow-up single “Rapido” hit the dance charts worldwide after one week, and remains a tribal anthem. This iconic record led to the creation of one of Amsterdam’s leading events (Rapido), for which Giangi has been a long-time resident and purveyor of its sexy music policy.
He remixed pop icons like Madonna, and dance music legends like Martha Wash, Afrika Bambaataa, Ralphi Rosario, Liquid Soul, and many others.. 
His beats are presented on Warner, Kult, Deeperfect, Deepalma, Milk & Sugar, Mantra Vibes, Tenor, Vendetta, Iberican Records, (just to name a few) and his own label Motibus Records!
Giangi Cappai’s studio creations and DJ sessions are infused with his afro groovy, deep techy-house beats, with influences of 80’s electronic musicians like Kraftwerk, Brian Eno, Tangerine Dream... and.. last but not least he is still a follower of Italian futurism.
