Minimal & Dub

Flux is the presence of a force field in a specified physical medium, or the flow of energy through a surface. Flux is present in all fields, in all disciplines. Observable almost everywhere - it can be both a vector or a scalar quantity.

We are all in flux, in flow; moving forward, through obstacles. We overcome and we push through. Regardless of what's in front of us, we must move past it.

This is a mix of flow, a story with no boundaries. A sonic tale of flux, which doesn't follow a set path. This set has no playlist, the mood of the present sets what is next.

XVII:

A sonic tale of refraction | Changing dynamic, altering energy and feeling, like light changing direction at the surface. 

Refraction reveals the fluidity of reality, and the malleability of perception. Material world can deceive our senses, and underlines the importance of looking beyond the surface to uncover the deeper truth behind ourselves, the world.

Darkness; it always surrounds us. It can take many forms, many shades. Some get stuck, some go through ; but we must all embrace it.

This mix explores the dark. No plan, just a ride through the dark forest of sound.

Developing a passion for moving dance-floors, he uses DJing as a creative outlet; a means to tell a story. Mike Haddad, Montréal’s sonic story teller, created the ultimate espresso blend: bold and balanced, with caramelly sweet finish, and, the “holy grail” of a good espresso, a rich layer of crema floating on top!
